At Spotify, we believe the best podcasts are built on a deep, ongoing relationship between creators and their audiences. That relationship should be rewarding in every way that matters. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new set of creator tools and consumer experiences designed for greater discovery, connection, and monetization.
Grow your earnings. Reward your fans.
We’re building new monetization opportunities designed to deepen engagement with your fans while maintaining a seamless content experience — so your show’s success can be shared with fans.
Available today: New tools to seamlessly manage your sponsorships
Sponsorships are one of the most valuable revenue streams for creators, but managing them hasn’t always been easy. We’re introducing a suite of tools that change that. Starting today, creators enrolled in the Spotify Partner Program through Spotify for Creators or Megaphone can schedule, replace, and evaluate performance for sponsorship segments in video episodes. We’re proud to usher in a new chapter for smarter, more flexible sponsorship management at scale.
With this easy-to-use booking flow, you can manage native sponsorships alongside your targeted ad campaigns, all in one place. You’ll gain access to detailed reporting to understand how individual sponsorships are performing over time. And, with the ability to replace outdated sponsorships in older episodes with fresh ones, you can keep earning across your entire content library, not just the latest episode.

Coming soon: Memberships
We’re also announcing Memberships: a new subscription-based model that unlocks higher-value experiences for fans and recurring revenue for creators. Starting this year, creators can provide subscriber-only content for a fee to their most loyal fans on Spotify.
Memberships will also unlock unique insights on how your biggest fans are engaging with your content on Spotify, and the ability to reach out directly to members. By building a closer relationship with your most dedicated fans right on Spotify, you'll gain key insights and new opportunities to promote and grow your memberships. Importantly, creators who use Memberships on Spotify will own the relationship with their audience directly, including the ability to export data across platforms.

Fueling fan engagement and discovery at every level
Earnings and audience growth go hand in hand. That’s why we’re also giving fans new ways to explore your show and dive deeper on topics they care about — right on Spotify.
Available today: Fans can ask Spotify to delve deeper on podcast episodes
Your fans can now ask Spotify questions about your episode right in the Now Playing view while listening or watching, allowing them to get personalized answers in real time based on your transcripts and web search. Whether clarifying a concept or exploring something mentioned in an episode, they can delve deeper without leaving your show.
Helping your fans dig deep keeps them focused on your content and ensures no moment gets lost. And as listeners explore the answers, they're naturally led to discover more of your catalog, spending more time with your content and deepening their connection to your show. Building on the success of comments, this capability helps fans learn more and connect more deeply with the topics, perspectives, and creators they care about.

Coming soon: Personal Podcasts
Personal Podcasts is a new experience on Spotify that lets listeners generate and schedule short, private audio episodes tailored to their interests and their listening habits — creating a new bridge between you and the audiences most passionate about topics you've already covered. By handling the quick, specific questions, Personal Podcasts free up your show to stay focused on what you do best: building genuine connection and loyalty. Delivered exclusively to Spotify users in the moment they're searching for something specific, they spark curiosity and send listeners straight to your content for a deeper dive.
AI is expanding expectations, not just for how content is delivered, but for the experiences that surround it. For podcasts, this creates new opportunities for how people engage with content, how shows are discovered and surfaced, and even who podcasting can reach. As we continue to innovate in this new era, Spotify is committed to building experiences that complement creators and their work.

Investing in the experiences, formats, and technologies that move podcasting forward
Spotify has played a central role in shaping podcasting into the global format it is today, expanding audiences, empowering new voices, and building the tools creators need to succeed. As the medium continues to evolve, we’ll keep building on that foundation, helping creators reach more listeners, unlocking new ways for fans to engage, and making Spotify the best place to create, discover, and experience podcasts. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just getting started, Spotify remains the best place to build a sustainable, fan-powered business.
