Effectively promoting your show starts with sharing links to your show’s episodes across social media, newsletters, and paid advertising campaigns. It’s one of the simplest ways to grow an audience. 

That’s why we’ve built Links in Megaphone - shareable, trackable links that make it easy to promote your podcast and see what’s working. Each link takes listeners to a landing page where they can listen on Spotify or their favorite podcast app, and you get clear data on what happens next: clicks, plays and downloads, and how those links are helping your show grow. 

Whether you're promoting a single audio or video episode or running a campaign across your network, Links in Megaphone give you the full picture. 

Here’s how to get started and how to make the most of them.

Share and measure link performance to help optimize your promotional marketing strategy

Links in Megaphone can help play a critical role in your promotional efforts for every new episode you drop. Links can be created for any show or episode you’d like and direct to a landing page where people can listen on Spotify or their preferred podcast player. 

After distributing and sharing your links, you can review their performance by heading to the Analytics tab in Links. 

There, you’ll get a full view of how your links are performing—across your entire network or down to a single episode. Filter by date, show or campaign to dig into what’s working. You’ll also be able to see stats around clicks, converted devices, and conversion rate from each link.

Here’s what to watch for: 

  • Overall Clicks: See how many people are engaging with your links. This helps you understand which channels are driving the most awareness and interest—and which episodes, topics, or guests are pulling people in.
  • Deliveries and Conversion Rate. Deliveries help tell you the number of unique devices that played your show on Spotify or downloaded your show on other platforms after clicking your link. The conversion rate measures the percentage of clicks that led to a delivery. Comparing conversion rate performance can reveal which promotions are actually driving more audience for your show.  
  • Breakdown of conversions by source. We even breakdown link conversion performance by channel (Facebook, Instagram, etc) so you can compare conversion rates between marketing channels. This lets you understand the quality of your audience across all the clickable media channels you post on. Is it just a driver of awareness for your show or is it helping to convert more listeners of your show?
