Since then she has had the opportunity to perform with Jennifer Hudson, Mali Music, Kim Burrell, Travis Malloy, Troy Laureta, and many more. Her first album entitled “HYM” released in 2019 with various cover singles following. She has a new album entitled “Love, MaKenzie” which was release on May 25, 2021.

Serenity is the latest hot topic when the conversation of female bosses in the world of entertainment happens. Serving as the General Manager of Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment, Serenity is no stranger when it comes to be being self-made as an entrepreneur.

As a military brat, she was born in North Carolina and raised in California. She knew early on that the music industry had peeked her interest at 20 years old, and began her journey forward. After attending, San Jose State, where she studied journalism and mass communications, Serenity tested her skills in the business service industry as the leading regional director for Ranstad Staffing.

While progressing in her career, she still fostered her love for the arts — which is how she landed the role she currently serves in hip hop.

“I like to think of myself as immersed in the hip hop culture with a sprinkle of Jesus,” she says.

“God has always been the center of every move and decision I’ve made,” said Serenity. “Faith is what I lean on and is why I’m reminded everyday that I can do all things.”

Serenity is a daughter, sister, friend and mother of four — looking to make her mark in this world one day at a time.

Idris Muhammad Bolton was born in the city of Philadelphia. He was raised in a single parent home by his father. Soon after he graduated High School, Idris enrolled into the Community College of Philadelphia

A year after enrolling in college, Idris dropped out because he wasn't sure what he wanted to do or pursue. As a result, he began to do promotions for local event planners and six months later Idris was producing his own events. Idris found a new love in marketing and promoting. In 2008 Idris booked his first major recording artist, Nicki Minaj. With the success of that event, Idris began to promote events for big names such as P.Diddy, Fabolous, Meek Mill, Monica, Mario, Pleasure P, Young Money’s Tyga, Drake and Lil’ Wayne, to name a few. In 2010 BET came to Philadelphia and interviewed him and named him the most influential promoter of Philadelphia.

Idris walked away from the lifestyle of being event planner, and pursued his relationship with God. He walked away from a lucrative industry that made him from $5,000 to $30,000 an event to serve the Lord! Today, Idris is one of the most rawest motivational speakers most people have ever seen. His honesty and transparency about his past is what people love about Idris. Idris also sends out daily devotions to thousands of people helping them live better lives.

He is currently writing his first book on the topics of love, sex, and relationships. He also serves at his local church while still offering daily advice to people through his social media pages
