Carolin Schroeder is a stage manager and arts administrator, born in Germany and now calling Winnipeg home. She's worked with RMTC, Dry Cold Productions, the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, Rainbow Stage and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet school, just to name a few.

For long-time listeners, you may recognize Reid from our fourth-ever episode of Live at the Gargoyle. A lot has changed since then; they switched career paths, they moved to Brazil and Back, but now Reid is back and actively performing on Winnipeg stages.

Reid will be originating the role of Clayton in our spring production of The Perfect Man at The Gargoyle Theatre, running from May 6-17, 2026.

Sam Hutchings is a theatre multi-hyphenate—dancing, singing and acting on stages across Canada and even on film! She's currently a Musical Theatre instructor at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and she also works as a stunt performer for film and television. If that wasn't enough, she is currently apprenticing through Intimacy Coordinators Canada to complete her certification as an Intimacy Coordinator.

Sam will be originating the role of Stephanie in our spring production of The Perfect Man at The Gargoyle Theatre, running from May 6-17, 2026.

Victoria Exconde is a performer, choreographer, and teacher based in Winnipeg, MB. She is also the leading actress in the tv show Maria and the Mennos — wherein a young Filipino-Canadian woman tries to maintain her own identity after moving in with her Mennonite in-laws.

Victoria will be choreographing our spring production of The Perfect Man at The Gargoyle Theatre, running from May 6-17, 2026.

Haeln Gebre resides in Winnipeg, MB, but was born in Kenya. She graduated from the Honours Acting Program at the University of Winnipeg (credits include I Think We Are Alone, Love and Information, and 365 Days/365 Plays). She also studied with The Village Conservatory and has done several intensives, including the Rise Musical Theatre Intensive.

Haeln will be originating the role of Reese in the spring production of The Perfect Man at The Gargoyle Theatre, running from May 6-17, 2026.

Vinnie Alberto is an award-winning Indigenous artist, producer and educator who has worked in theatres all across Canada. Appointed as the Managing Director & Artistic Associate of Winnipeg Studio Theatre in 2025, Andrew and Vinnie talk about sports, theatre, and how marketing helps bring people to the theatre in this digital age.

Many people know Jason Hooper for his work at the West End Cultural Centre over the course of 15 years, but he has recently been appointed Managing Director of Theatre Projects Manitoba. On our first episode of 2026, Andrew and Jason discuss his early interests in theatre all the way to the currently running co-production of Holland by Winnipegger Trish Cooper.

Chase Winnicky is a Canadian Performer, Director, and Intimacy Director based in Winnipeg, MB. 

A graduate of Toronto’s Randolph College for the Performing Arts “Theatre Performance” program, Chase has performed on stages across the city, country, and on the sea for Oceania Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Lines. Director of the Canadian premiere of The Prom with Dry Cold Productions, Chase's career is only getting started.

Winnipeg's newest theatre festival will be hosting it's inaugural season on The Gargoyle Theatre's stage. Brainchild of the festival, Linda Olson, is this week's guest. Andrew discusses her life, her love of radio plays, and how the concept of the festival was born.

Brian Richardson was born and raised in Ireland before coming to North America to pursue his education and career in America. An award-winning actor, artist and playwright, Brian moved to Winnipeg when his car broke down on his way to Vancouver from Halifax.

Kevin Longfield is a Winnipeg-born playwright and actor who earned a degree in mechanical engineering before receiving a second degree in theatre from the University of Winnipeg. Author of 'From Fire to Flood', Kevin has also written several plays and produced multiple productions with Theatre Anywhere.

Suzie Martin is a director, a dramatug, and a theatre creator located in Winnipeg, MB. Originally from Ontario, Suzie holds a BA-Honours in Acting from the University of Winnipeg and an MFA in Directing from the University of Alberta. After she returned to Winnipeg, Suzie took on the role of Artistic Director for Theatre Projects Manitoba (TPM). On this week's episode, Andrew talks to Suzie about her theatrical background, as has a discussion about TPM's upcoming show, The Only Good Indian (OGI)

Parasocial explores online privacy, vulnerability and the dark side of being an internet personality, highlighting how the blurred lines between public persona and personal life can have devastating consequences.

In an homage to this brilliant musical adventure, through witty commentary and unstoppable energy, Perlov aims to entertain an audience that isn’t forced to be there like her students!

Jade Janzen and Laurie Monk are two local performers eager to bring their characters to life during the run of How They’ll Tell It, premiering at The Gargoyle Theatre May 29-June 8.

Sophie Guillas has an BA from the University of Manitoba and a Masters from Western University in English literature, and now resides in Winnipeg, MB. She's the writer for the upcoming play, How They'll Tell It, which will be making it's debut on the Gargoyle stage from May 29 - June 8, 2025.

Tyler Leighton is a singer, dancer, and choreographer who has worked in musical theatre for almost two decades. He's a world class tap dancer who teaches musical theatre at Marquis Dance Academy. Tyler is currently the choreographer for Winnipeg's All-Dentist Musical's 2025 production of Chicago. This summer, you can catch him at Rainbow Stage performing in Frozen, from August 7-24.

He is also the Coordinator of International Programs for the charity organization LiveDifferent.

Zahra Larche is a stage manager who graduated from the National Theatre School's Production program in 2017. She's worked for all the major theatre centres here in Winnipeg and with companies across the country. She will soon be stage managing Dry Cold's 2025 production of Dogfight.

Eve Ross Moore is a writer, singer and actor living in Winnipeg, MB. Eve is a part of the Village Conservatory's class of 2024/25, and performed her piece "Countdown" at this year's Inhibition/Exhibition, which took place at The Gargoyle Theatre. Eve has also performed with groups like Looking Glass Theatre and Indifferently Reformed, and will be producing her own show at this year's Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

Kara Joseph is an actor, musician, creator, and arts manager in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who was recently announced as the new Artistic Director of the Winnipeg Studio Theatre. Cory Wojcik is an actor, director, musician and playwright you've probably seen on one of Winnipeg's many stages working on projects from Shakespeare in the Ruins, RMTC, to local dinner theatre!

This week, Andrew explores Cory's history with theatre and how it has led to his show, Mixtapes From My Mom, which will be performed on the Tom Hendry Warehouse stage from January 29 to February 15, 2025. 

Kira Chisholm is an actor and theatre-maker from Fredericton, NB. Graduating from the National Theatre School's Acting program in 2022, Kira was living in Winnipeg, MB until she recently relocated to Toronto, ON.

Chris Coyne is currently the Concert Hall Coordinator at the University of Manitoba's newest venue, the Desautels Concert Hall. Before that, Chris was the Head of Audio at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Winnipeg! A sound designer and Audio engineer, Chris will be our first guest to introduce our listeners to the world of audio for the stage.

Rodrigo Beilfuss is the Artistic Director of Shakespeare in the Ruins, as well as an actor and director.

Typically, Andrew interviews local creators about their lives and careers, but in this episode, Andrew and Rodrigo will dive deep into one of the bard's most infamous tragedies - Hamlet.

Rhea Rodych-Rasidescu is an emerging Actor, Director, and Theatre Educator. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg’s B.A. Hons. Acting Performance Program in 2021. She plays the titular character Judith Shakespeare in Winnipeg Studio Theatre's production of Miss Shakespeare.

Hera Nalam is a singer-songwriter and actress based in Winnipeg, MB. Born and raised in the Philippines, Hera and her family moved to Canada in 2011. You may have seen her perform in various theatrical productions by Shakespeare in the Ruins or Walk&Talk, or possibly on the big screen in I Propose We Never See Each Other Again After Tonight.

Carol-Ann Bohrn is a freelance contemporary dance artist who graced The Gargoyle Theatre's stage earlier this year as a part of the Free Theatre project.

Raised in Brandon, MB, Carol-Ann received formal training from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and Ryerson University. She is also a graduate of the School of Contemporary Dancers here in Winnipeg. She's been involved in several film and theatre projects.
