169. A Look Into A Group Call
🎙️ Ever wonder what the magic inside our Mastermind actually feels like?
Hey Glowfriend ✨
This episode is your behind-the-scenes sneak peek into the heart of our Mastermind.
You’re getting a glimpse into the very beginning of one of our recent group coaching calls — the real, raw, heart-led moments that make this space so special.
This is a space where people come to be seen, supported, and lovingly guided through whatever they’re moving through in real time.
I always begin our calls by showing up vulnerably and sharing what I’m personally navigating in that moment, and this episode gives you a true feel for my teaching and coaching style: depth, honesty, reflection, and deep connection.
🎬 Spoiler alert: The Matrix may make a surprise cameo in this conversation.
So if you’ve somehow managed to avoid seeing the first movie all these years and want to keep Neo’s journey a mystery a little longer, you may want to lovingly skip the video for now 😅
But if you’re okay with a tiny cinematic spoiler in exchange for some powerful coaching magic… press play and come on in ✨
And if this episode resonates with you, if you’ve been craving a space where you can grow, heal, and be deeply supported, this is your invitation.
The doors to the Mastermind are officially open, but only for a limited time, and enrollment closes at the end of this month.
This is also the last time I’ll be running the program in this format, which makes this round especially meaningful.
If you’ve been feeling the nudge, this is your sign to say yes 💫
Come join us through the link below before the doors close. I would love to support you inside this space.

168. Cafè con Community
I hope you’ve all been enjoying our Café con Community series ☕️✨
In this episode, I’m sharing a little behind-the-scenes paragraph about what we went over, and honestly… this specific tab was a complete surprise to me 😂
It literally says: “YOU NEED GLASSES!” 👓
The funniest part? I do not even remember writing it down for myself.
This just goes to show you how completely unscripted and unrehearsed this series really is. It’s raw, real, and happening in the moment — because I truly had no recollection of even writing this tab.
Anyway, listen on to get the full gist of the video, and if this serves as a message for you, let me know lol 🤍
And a little reminder: the doors to the club are now open ✨
If this message resonates with you, and my teaching/coaching style feels aligned, I would absolutely love to have you join us inside. Come be part of the community, the conversations, and the growth we’re creating together 💫

167. A Glimpse Into Our Group Call
In this episode, you’ll get a special sneak peek into what happens inside our group calls.
Before officially opening the floor for our group coaching call, I spent some time chatting with the group and sharing what I had personally been feeling throughout the week, along with what came through during my meditation right before hopping on the call with them.
This episode offers a beautiful glimpse into my teaching and coaching style, and how the messages I receive tend to come through in real time. It’s an intimate look into the energy, guidance, and support that lives inside our world, and I hope you truly enjoy this behind-the-scenes moment with us.
And if you didn’t know — the doors to the club are officially open.
For this cohort, we are doing something extra special: we’re combining both the mastermind and the club curriculum together, so you’ll be receiving a truly unique experience.
This will more than likely be the last time I run it in this format, so if you’ve been feeling the nudge or urge to join us, now is the time.
I would love to see you inside.

Why planning an exit strategy is so important
The magic of community and empowerment in the Clutch Club
"If you are a makeup artist, you know that it’s not just about the makeup; as a matter of fact it’s probably only about 20% about the makeup. That whole other 80% is that leadership stuff. You HAVE to think about yourself that way - you’re not going to jump over those hurdles if you don't.”

TRAILER: Hey Glowfriend
I wished that I had someone back then or a community of people to help me figure out this world, what should I be charging? What are my boundaries around my clients? What are the expectations and realities of this industry? How do I maintain my mental health, and my work-life balance and still bring in the money that I want?
Are you a makeup artist trying to make your way in this seemingly glamorous industry?
Perhaps you’ve been in this space for a beat but feel like you are alone and have no one who can relate.
Welcome to the HEY GLOWFRIEND podcast with myself, Angelique Velez
with twenty years in the Makeup industry, becoming the founder and CEO of the Break up to Makeup company, while dabbling in so many aspects of the industry from bridal to retail to TV to film to fashion, and then going on to be in the local 798 Union! I've done I've literally put my hands in everything
I’m so grateful that you have found me and this podcast
Because I believe that
When I shine you shine then we all shine together glow-friend.
Join me for weekly episodes and a sense of community!
