Episode 09 - Arianna
In this episode of the Future Learning Podcast, we speak to Arianna Curreli. Based in Sardinia, Italy, Arianna comes from a little village but she lived for many years in Cagliari, her second home where she studied Languages and Communication and International Relations. During her Master’s Degree, she discovered non-formal education and youth work thanks to Associazione Interculturale NUR (@assonur on Instagram and Facebook) and since then, that educational approach inspired her to try and combine her learning path within her youth organisation with her passion for sociology and European youth policies. She loves discovering different cultures, recognizing that international mobility has been a huge part of her personal growth, and she dreams of seeing a world without barriers…
Find out more about Arianna’s learning journey, passions and inspirations, and don’t forget to answer her question to you, the listener, at the end of the episode: “What’s your song of the day?”
(And if you listen until the very very end, there's a little Easter egg waiting for you, too!)
This episode, hosted by Danijela Ranđelović, was produced by Associazione Interculturale NUR for the Cities of Learning Network, and supported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Michael comes from the UK and is 15 years old, but he already volunteers with Magic Club (follow them on Facebook, Instagram or their website), a charity working with young people aged 7-18, in Claremont, Blackpool. Their motto is “Inspiring young people to dream big, develop strong foundations and reach their fullest potential.” and Michael certainly follows it: he works with local young people by providing a safe space for them to meet friends, develop their own skills and also to relieve stress from earlier on in the day, and he also helps in some of the events that Magic Club is involved in, such as an annual parade to celebrate LGBTQ+ citizens.
Tune in to learn more about Michael’s volunteering endeavours in Blackpool and how he first got involved with digital badges, but also about his passion for music and playing the piano, photography and even cooking.
