Colossians 2-Part 2
Paul exhorts the Colossians to be rooted and built upon Jesus, in the same faith that they received him in.

Pastor Sam concludes our study through Micah. We find the Prophet finishing the point that God will be made known in all of Creation, either as judge or as Savior and we are reminded that there is none comparable to our Lord and Shepherd.

Micah Chapter 6-Part 3
We find in the concluding scenes of Micah an invitation to turn back to the Lord. Pastor Sam suggests some ways in which we might have harbored subtle rebellion in our hearts.

Micah Chapter 6-Part 2
Micah responds to the implication of the Lord being "un-indictable". His repentant response builds upon the context of Balaam and illustrates the insufficiency of anything we might seek to appease the Lord with and highlights the value and sufficiency of faith in the Lord.

Micah Chapter 6-Part 1
God sets the stage for an unconventional legal drama and calls to witness Creation. The examples highlight the long-standing history of God's faithfulness.

Micah Chapter 5-Part 3
The Lord discusses the remnant of Israel and their position and usefulness for His glory in the world. Further, God speaks to Israel and His people in all times, about the removal of anything that might represent a misplaced trust. This has implications for the believer and the non-believer alike.

Pastor Sam looks at the hope we find in the resurrection and the assurance our salvation and future hope because Jesus ever lives!

Micah Chapter 3-Part 1
Micah shifts focus to the judges of Israel. They are condemned for their perversion of judgment. Pastor Sam discusses the historical context and the idea that the principles of God's Word are right and true because of the nature of God. His actions, words and attributes are perfect!

Micah-Chapter 2 Part 2
Pastor Sam looks at the rebuke of Micah against Jacob, who is near the Lord in word but far from Him in heart. We see parallels for the Church today as many profess faith, but deny the Gospel in life.

Micah Chapter 2-Part 1
Micah shifts from the sins of the Nation to the sins of the individual. In particular, the people had grown in covetousness, which is idolatry.

Micah Chapter 1 - Part 2
Pastor Sam concludes chapter 1 with two applications relevant to our faith today.

Micah Chapter 1-Part 1
We find that the prophetic announcement of judgment is a reminder of God's sovereign providence, His faithful "preaching of the gospel" throughout history and the provision of atoning sacrifice in Jesus Christ.

In addition, we are encouraged to see the Lord's faithfulness in every circumstance and the surety of our salvation in Jesus.

2 Timothy-Week 11
