August 25, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers started their final homestand of the season with a 4-3 victory over the South Bend Cubs.

August 23, 2026 - Eric Bitonti hit a pair of home runs and Jacob Morrison pitched four near-perfect innings of relief to help the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers storm back from a 5-1 deficit to defeat the Lake County Captains 7-5 in the series finale between the teams.

Extra Heartbreak
August 2, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers missed some chances and lost 5-4 in ten innings to the Lansing Lugnuts on Sunday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field.
Mehring and Jonathan Timm discuss those chances in a game that went from 1-1 after nine innings to 5-1 after the top of the tenth to 5-4 with a chance to win in the bottom of the tenth.
Manager Nick Stanley shares his thoughts on the game and what's ahead for the Rattlers.
There is also an update on the playoff picture with thirty games remaining in the season.
A Six-Pack of Homers and a Rehab Start
July 30, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers hit six home runs and got a 10-0, one-hit shutout win over the Lansing Lugnuts on Thursday night.
Mehring and Jonathan Timm recap all the homers, the rehab start by Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Kyle Harrison, the performance by the relievers, and a few other things you might have missed.

Eric Bitonti hit a walkoff grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth for an 8-4 victory. The Rattlers won five of the six games of the series.

May 29, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fell short in an ten-inning game against the Peoria Chiefs in a 7-5 decision at Neuroscience Group Field.
Wisconsin had a fast start with three runs on five hits in the first inning. Eric Bitonti added another homer and Wisconsin had a 5-3 lead before the Chiefs tied the game with two runs in the sixth.

May 3, 2026 - For the second Sunday home game in a row, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers had a disappointing end to a series. On April 19, it was an 11-1 loss to the Peoria Chiefs. This Sunday it was a 12-3 loss to the Quad Cities River Bandits.
Mehring and Jonathan Timm recap the game, which featured four more home runs by the River Bandits and a few bits of sloppy play by the Rattlers.

Josh Adamczewski drove in the tying run and scored the winning run in the ninth to put a cap on his productive day. The Brewers outfield prospect had two homers and five RBI on the afternoon. He has five home runs on the season so far.

Celebrating Twice
April 15, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers picked up two wins over the Peoria Chiefs with a doubleheader sweep on Wednesday afternoon at Neuroscience Group Field.
Mehring and Jonathan Timm discuss the two very different victories. There was the 7-3 win in game one in which the Rattlers built a 6-0 lead with two runs in each of the first three innings. Then, there was game two where the team rallied for a 6-5 win on the strength of homers by Josiah Ragsdale, Marco Dinges, and Josh Adamczewski.

Getting 2026 Started with a Split
APRIL 4, 2026 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers finally got the 2026 season underway with a doubleheader at Neuroscience Group Field on Saturday night.
Game one got away from the home team with a 5-4 loss to the Beloit Sky Carp.
Game two was much better with three homers in an 8-7, come-from-behind victory over Beloit.

Rattler Monday opens with congratulations to Ryan Birchard, who has been named the Midwest League's Pitcher of the Week after his seven, no-hit innings against Quad Cities last week.
There is a quick check of the Midwest League playoff races before turning to a preview of the Timber Rattlers series at South Bend with Brendan King of the South Bend Cubs broadcast team.
Luke Adams was in town over the weekend for a minor league rehabilitation assignment and he recaps his season, explains his celebratory run to the outfield after the walkoff against the River Bandits in the 2024 playoffs, and a few other topics.

August 31, 2025 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers lost 4-2 to the Quad Cities River Bandits in a frustrating home finale.
Mehring & Kyle Lobner hit the high points with another fine performance from Manuel Rodriguez, Jesus Made drawing three walks, Josh Adamczewski knocking in a run, and Kay-Lan Nicasia with a homer out of his three hits.

August 30, 2025 - The penultimate home game of the 2025 Timber Rattlers season was an 8-2 loss to the Quad Cities River Bandits.

A Short, Quiet Night
August 29, 2025 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were held to four hits in a 5-0 loss to a Quad Cities River Bandits team that is desperately trying to stay in the playoff race.
All seven of the Brewers Top 30 Prospects on the Wisconsin roster were in the lineup for this game and it was a rough night.

Birchard Says "No"
August 28, 2025 - Ryan Birchard made his final start at home for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in the 2025 season count. The right-hander walked one & struck out eight over seven no-hit innings to earn the win.
The Rattlers fell short in the bid for their first no-hitter since the 2021 season, but still picked up the 3-2 win.
Kyle Lobner joins Mehring to discuss the game and the performances of Birchard, Luke Adams, Jesus Made, and Anthony Flores.

Tough Wednesday Night
August 27, 2025 - It was a big offensive night for Andrew Fischer (3-for-4, first pro homer) and Jesus Made (4-for-5 with two doubles) but the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers lost 9-5 to the Quad Cities River Bandits as the Bandits broke a 4-4 tie with five runs in the top of the ninth.
In the podcast, Mehring briefly reviews the game before getting to Kyle Lobner's Clubhouse Comments with Fischer and manager Victor Estevez, who has a brief update on starting pitcher Tanner Gillis.

August 26, 2025 - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers started their final homestand of the season with a 5-1 loss to the Quad Cities River Bandits.
Andrew Fischer had two hits and scored a run for the Rattlers...Unfortunately, those were Wisconsin's only two hits in the game.

That's a Wrap with the Loons
August 17, 2025 - The Timber Rattlers had a 3-0 lead four batters into the game on Sunday against the Great Lakes Loons. The Loons kept chipping away and eventually went on to a 5-3 victory over Wisconsin in the game and a 4-2 win in the series.
Mehring and Kyle Lobner go through the game, a potential player of the week award winner for the Loons, and some notes on soft contact against Jesus Broca in the top of the third inning.

Crowd Reactions and Reacting to Crowds
August 16, 2025 - The Great Lakes Loons shutout the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 7-0 on Saturday night in front of 6,040 fans at Neuroscience Group Field.
There are a few positives on the field for the Rattlers including Ryan Birchard's performance and the return of Miles Langhorne from injury. Mehring gets right to the Clubhouse Comments from Victor Estevez with Kyle Lobner.
The big highlight of the night was the fans cheering Andruw Monasterio's three-run home run during a Loons pitching change and Adam Serwinowski reacting to those cheers as he left the game.

Short and Sour
August 15, 2025 - Not a lot to review in this episode after the Rattlers lost 16-5 to the Great Lakes Loons.
Great Lakes hit four homers, stole five bases, collected sixteen hits, and struck out just three times.
Jesus Made, Luis Pena, and Andrew Fischer continue to endear themselves to the home crowd as Made and Fischer both had two hits and Pena hit a long home run.
No clubhouse comments tonight, but there is good news on a returning Rattler who is scheduled to be the starting pitcher on Sunday.
Baseball Is A Crazy Game!
August 14, 2025 - Andrew Fischer made his professional debut a memorable one. The new Wisconsin Timber Rattlers third baseman went 3-for-4 with a walk and three RBI, including a go-ahead, two-run, infield single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Rattlers won 8-6 over the Great Lakes Loons.
It was a crazy game with twists, turns, and a few dead ends that turned into an incredible comeback.
Hear from Luis Castillo, who broke out in a big way tonight, as he talks with Kyle Lobner. There is also a note about how appropriate it was to have Hedbert Perez as the interpreter.
