CARDS DRAWN - SPOILERS BELOW!

Mark Card #1 - Exposure - You have been struck—perhaps by the angle of light on the water or something to do with the color of the surrounding air—by a truly momentous spiritual or existential revelation, impossible to put into words. Still, you hope to share it in some way with your companion.How might you, without being didactic or overbearing, help your companion access something like the revelation you just experienced?

Jay Card #1 - Cosy - You are a world-famous Belgian detective, or perhaps an amateur sleuth from a small New England town, and you have good reason to believe that your companion was involved with a terrible crime. Gather evidence on your companion’s involvement, but donot, under any circumstances, allow them to catch on that they are being investigated

Mark Card #2 - Palimpsect - You have a secret identity—asuperhero, an anonymous hacker, a whistleblower, or possibly a werewolf. Your companion, who you believed to be unaware of this secret identity, has recently said or done something that leads you to wonder if they know.

Jay Card #2 - Foment - You are a member of a secret society, assigned with the task of determining whether your companion—whose participation in this secret society would be of great benefit—would be interested in joining.

Mark Card #3 - Geranium - Your companion is alive, but youare not. You are a specter, ghost, or echo that is haunting them. This whole thing is probably related to something that your companion has done. It doesn’t have to be a terrible crime—though it might be. What unfinished business is leftbetween you, and how will you push them to resolve it?

Jay Card #3 - Hinge - While you hold this card, you mayonly answer any question with another question. Try not to be too obvious about it.

Mark Card #4 - Albatross - This fishing trip isn’t happeningright now; it’s a memory from long ago that you are re-living in your mind. Maybe your companion isn’t a major part of your life anymore, or your relationship isn’t the same. Whatever happens next, it’s exactly how you remember it happeningin your memory, and you can’t do anything to change it.

Jay Card #4 - Pellucid - While you hold this card, answereverything your companion asks truthfully for yourself as the player, not the character—however, you are under no requirement to reveal that your answers are truthful orout-of-character.

In our final part, BCW is coming at you live for The Big Birmingham Beat Down (Location Pending!). Titanic Terry is looking to settle his feud with his old tag team partner Kolassal Keith. Enigma finds herself facing Dark Omen and Painface in a Triple Threat match, and Oliver Timely makes some shocking revelations before his title match with Mr International in our main event!

We hope you enjoyed this series, as it was very fun to put together as a string of episodes! This is just a snippet of some of the content within this game and I hope it was enjoyable and if popular enough maybe we can do another set of episodes with the BCW gang! We certainly set up for that!

[6] The Worldwide Wrestling RPG - BCW (Part 1) - Live From The Car Park!

Today we're hopping into spandex and into the squared circle as we're playing The Worldwide Wrestling RPG. We'll quickly go over the rules, introduce our characters and establish their existing relationships to one another and then hop straight into the action.

We'll also be releasing 3 "Bonus episodes" at certain points alongside our playthrough of this. As part of this game is about players in the role of "Creative" pre-booking the show for the players to subvert these expectations. They'll be short snippets that are mostly myself and Steve coming up with the general idea of the show. We plan to play 3 "Episodes" of the fictional wrestling show, so that should amount to each episode of the podcast being half one of the televised episodes, and the finale being a big Pay Per View finale! But if you're interested in running the game and how that would work I would certainly recommend looking into them, but if you want to go in blind that also makes sense!

[1] Call of Cthulhu: The Dare (Part 1) - The Boy With The Weird Mole Hands

Welcome to System Hoppers! A podcast where we regularly mix up what we play to try to show off a range of fun different TTRPG systems! For our first stint we’ll be playing Call of Cthulhu. Set in 1980’s America, the group will be playing three schoolkids that have been dared by Roger, the school’s local bully to spend Halloween night in the old Barnaker house, an old abandoned house on the edge of town. The group hope it’ll be a quick and easy, but Roger has other plans in mind for the group it seems…
