About Mimi Sullivan:Mimi Sullivan is a grateful third generation marathoner and unashamed slower runner. She has been running on an off since high school, but truly found her love of running in 2023 when she signed up for her first half marathon. Mimi started the @runningmimi to document her journey back into running and help normalize slow runner experiences and the joys and struggles of running beyond just pace. She wants all runners to feel included and celebrated for all their wins, from .1 to 100, you got this!

About Lindsley Kump:Lindsley Kump (she/her) is a mom, wife, fur baby mom, a RRCA certified run coach, an athlete, and a marketing manager at Polar Beverages. She’s originally from Hawai’i but has called Colorado home for the past 20 years. Like so many Colorado transplants, she fell in love with the mountains and trails. As a black female runner and certified run coach, she is passionate about diversity, inclusion, equity, and fostering a sense of community for BIWOC within the outdoor/trail community.

She believes running is for everyone and is passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive environment where runners of all abilities can build confidence, consistency, and a lifelong love of the sport through evidence-based training. She enjoys helping athletes pursue their goals through individualized coaching that meets them where they are. She is the founder of *Soles for Souls*, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women who have experienced pregnancy loss due to miscarriage. Grounded in the pillars of sound, movement, and collaboration, Afia’s work fosters healing and connection within this community. She is also a Community Relations Manager at Charm City Run, where she focuses on expanding the running community to embrace individuals navigating life’s “in-between” spaces. Afia completed several 5 & 10Ks before conquering two marathons and her first 50K this past May spreading joy along the course. She has ran over 145 marathons and ultras combined and some of the hardest ultra marathons around. She has ran the Badwater 135, Leadville 100, HURT 100 and many other iconic races. She is working toward more podiums and personal bests all while helping her athletes she coaches be their best and do the same. About Caroline Malloy:Caroline Malloy, Ph.D. is a Chicago-based historian and book editor who ran marathons to stay grounded in grad school. When a recurring stress fracture forced her off the road, she pivoted to coaching. Caroline is a certified group fitness instructor (ACE & TRX), cycle instructor (Spinning™️), personal trainer (NASM), and now running coach (RRCA). She's finishing her Lydiard Level II training this Summer. Having experienced first-hand the benefits of getting strong before getting back out on the road, Caroline is a "fitness first" coach, encouraging runners to build full, well-rounded fitness practices to strengthen their miles. In the past year, she finally started running her own races again, completing a 15K, 2 half marathons, and her favorite race, Chicago's Shamrock Shuffle 8K. She's thrilled to be training for her first (Chicago) marathon in over a decade this fall.

About Athena Farias:I am a Research Exercise Physiologist, endurance coach, and advocate for helping athletes build strength, resilience, and confidence through movement. I serve as the multi-site lead on a federally funded research study focused on improving return-to-duty decision-making following musculoskeletal injury, bringing evidence-based strategies from research to real-world performance.
I have a Master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, RRCA Level II Run Coach, UESCA Ultra Running Coach, and Menopause for Athletes Coach, I help runners of all levels—from first-time 5K participants to ultramarathoners train smarter, recover stronger, and thrive through every stage of life.

About Erin Phifer:
Erin Phifer is an RRCA certified running coach and three-time marathoner. Erin began running in her 30s after avoiding physical activity and sports most of her life. At a charity event at the 2022 Chicago Marathon, Erin was inspired by the diversity and perseverance of the runners, and a week later, she signed up to run her own marathon, having never successfully run a mile without stopping. Through a lot of mistakes, a lot of doubt, and a lot of miserable runs, Erin has developed a lifelong love of the sport and an appreciation for every mile. Erin's goal is to encourage runners of all abilities to find joy in the miles and belonging in the running community.

About Coach Corky:
Corky has been coaching and supporting runners since 2014, when she launched Coach Corky Runs. Her favorite distance to coach and race is the marathon, though she has extensive experience on the roads from the 5K through Ultra distances. While Corky coaches clients virtually anywhere in the USA, in person she's made a name for herself in the treadmill group fitness world. She was a full time coach at Mile High Run Club from 2015-2019, and joined Precision Run at Equinox in 2019, and is still currently coaching in person in NYC. She's also one of the Precision Run coaches on the Equinox+ app, guiding members through treadmill and outdoor programs. Corky is still competing, and while she loves to race, her favorite part of being a runner is truly the training.

Dr. Robyn Michaud is an Assistant Professor of Indigenous Education at Western University in Ontario, Canada. She is a 51x road, trail and ultramarathoner and including completing all six World Majors in 2024. Robyn started marathoning in 2012 after being diagnosed with a spinal cord injury called ‘syringomyelia’, which is the formation of a cyst within the spinal cord itself. Robyn is passionate about making space in running circles for adaptive runners, as well as Indigenous runners, as she uses her platform for advocating for these two communities.

Rebecca Lockhart is a UESCA certified run coach and NASM certified personal trainer. She is passionate about running, strength training & social justice issues and works to bring all three together for her athletes. Her goal is to help athletes PR in the 5k through marathon distances or run their first half or full marathon. She uses individualized strength training to help her athletes become stronger, more resilient runners. Her team participates in advocacy work throughout the year, using the running community to spark change in the world.
