The Race Back to Himself | Tyler Murphy: Childhood Abuse, Meth & the Triathlon That Changed Everything
Tyler Murphy's story is one of survival, resilience, and the fierce, unlikely path back to the self. Born to a single nineteen year old mum in Melbourne, Tyler had a childhood that looked ordinary from the outside until it wasn't. From the age of nine, he was sexually abused by someone close to the family, and the abuse continued for seven years. He buried it so deep he didn't connect it to anything until he was twenty-three.
What came between was years of running from something he couldn't name.
In this conversation, Tyler opens up about the drug use that started at sixteen and escalated to ice by eighteen, the violent attack at nineteen that left his jaw broken in three places, the hundreds of times he thought about taking his own life, and the two stints in a psychiatric detox unit. He shares the moment he finally told his mum what had happened, and the seven more years it took after that conversation before he was truly ready to get clean.
We also dive into the DMT experience that cracked his atheism wide open, the mushroom therapy sessions he designed himself, seven years of work with his psychotherapist Pete, and the sprint triathlon he entered on a whim in 2023 that landed him on the podium and changed the entire direction of his life. Within months he deleted his social media, went dark, and was on the bike by 3.30am. Within two years he was one of the top five half ironman athletes in his age group in Australia.
This episode isn't just about recovering from trauma. It's about what a human being is capable of when they finally decide to stop running and start racing toward something.

Nurturing Life | Nick Lawson: Childhood Trauma, Qigong & the Tea Ceremony That Brought Him Home
Nick Lawson's story is one of running, searching, and the long road back to the self.
He spent his teenage years terrified and performing, surrounded by violence and chaos, while quietly falling apart inside. When his father left at sixteen, the already shaky ground beneath him turned to sand.
What followed was fifteen years of movement.
In this conversation, Nick opens up about the heartbreak at nineteen that brought him to the edge, running barefoot across Africa in search of something he couldn't name, and the First Nations aunty who stopped him cold and asked, simply, where do you come from? He didn't know. That question sent him somewhere no passport could take him.
We dive into the morning tea ceremony he has kept at 3am for years, the qigong practice that taught him to listen to his body, a four-day vision quest where death felt close enough to touch, and the meditation that finally handed him the truth about what happened to him as a three year old. It remains the most painful and most liberating moment of his life.
This episode isn't just about one man's healing. It's about what becomes possible when you finally stop running and sit still long enough to meet yourself.
Today Nick Lawson is a qigong teacher, ceremony keeper, and father — and one of the most quietly extraordinary humans we have ever had in the room.

The Body Doesn't Lie | Kaitlyn Menere on Grief, Crohn's & Healing from the Inside Out
Kaitlyn Menere's story is one of loss, avoidance, and the slow, hard won discovery that the body keeps score of everything we refuse to feel. Growing up in Melbourne with a classic Aussie upbringing, Kaitlyn's world looked completely ordinary until the day she was nineteen and her mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was chemo, radiation and a double mastectomy. And then, at twenty, the day her mum went in for one final operation and simply didn't wake up.
They were planning her twenty-first birthday party when it happened.
In this conversation, Kaitlyn opens up about the eight years that followed, the party scene that swallowed her whole, the drugs and alcohol that made it easier not to feel, and the Crohn's disease diagnosis at twenty-seven that finally forced her to stop running. She walks us through six operations, injections she had to refrigerate and self-administer, and the moment a doctor told her the next step was a colostomy bag, then later told her she'd be back when she chose to heal herself naturally instead.
She didn't go back.
We also dive deep into the holistic healing journey that followed, a book that cracked her world open, a sacred cacao breathwork ceremony that finally unlocked the grief she'd buried for years, the carnivore diet, cold ocean swims, and the full remission she now lives in, completely symptom free, without medication.
This episode isn't just about Crohn's disease. It's about what happens when a body runs out of ways to ask for help and finally gets your attention.
We explore losing a parent at twenty and the grief that had nowhere to go, eight years of the Melbourne party scene as a survival mechanism, a Crohn's diagnosis that started with symptoms she ignored for years, multiple operations and a medical system that never once asked about her lifestyle, the book that planted the seed, a breathwork breakthrough that broke her open, five years sober and how it started as just one weekend, the carnivore diet and what three years of it did for her body, going off medication and what the doctor said when she came back in remission, the contraceptive pill and what it does to women's bodies over time, and nervous system regulation as the foundation of all true healing.
Today, Kaitlyn Menere is a holistic psychotherapist based in Melbourne working with women on their nervous systems, anxiety, lifestyle and the root causes of disease. She reached out to us herself, slid into the DMs, and we are so glad she did.

Bronya Benvin | From Corporate to Psychic - Trauma, Tarot & Learning to Trust the Path
Bronya Benvin's story is one of awakening, surrender, and the slow, mysterious unfolding of a life that was never going to fit inside the ordinary. Growing up in Nelson, New Zealand as a deeply sensitive child who felt the energy of every room she walked into, Bronya always knew something else was at work beneath the surface.
What followed would take three lifetimes to live.
In this conversation, Bronya opens up about the three awakenings that have defined her life, one by grace, one by trauma, and one by grace again. From a spontaneous spiritual activation at fifteen that she told no one about for nearly two decades, to a dark night of the soul that followed one of the most violent and terrifying experiences of her life, to the heartbreak that cracked her open a third time and gave birth to an entirely new body of work.
This episode isn't just about psychic gifts or tarot cards. It's about what happens when a woman stops running from her sensitivity and finally lets it lead.
We explore childhood marked by empathy and the unexplained, corporate burnout and a plea deal with the universe, a trauma that changed the entire trajectory of her life, the deck of tarot cards that arrived and immediately began to speak through her, Neuro Soul Architecture and what it means to live in true coherence, and the live tarot reading that happened right here in the studio.

Nerida Bint | The Emotional Home — Childhood Wounds, Shame & Learning to Become Your Own Safe Place
Nerida Bint's story is one of survival, shame and the slow, courageous work of coming home to yourself. Growing up as her stepfather's stepdaughter, Nerida spent her childhood watching a man look at her with contempt, never understanding why she couldn't earn his acceptance. What she didn't know was that his rejection of her was rooted in a rejection he had carried since boyhood, sent alone to boarding school as a deaf child, abandoned by his own mother. The pain had to go somewhere. It landed on her.
What followed were decades of not feeling like she belonged here.
In this conversation, Nerida opens up about the years she spent planning to take her life, the suicide attempts that finally broke her open, and the moment she sat in a car park watching a TEDx talk about shame and burst into tears for the first time in years. She shares what it felt like to run a string of successful gyms, be surrounded by community and love, and still go home every night to a version of herself she couldn't bear to be with.
We also dive deep into the emotional intelligence framework Nerida has spent years building from her own healing, the difference between your inner critic and your inner coach, why the emotions your parents couldn't hold become the emotions you can't hold, and what it means to finally stop running from pain and actually let it move through you.
This episode isn't just about how dark it can get. It's about what becomes possible when you finally decide you're worth fighting for.
We explore growing up as a stepdaughter and the wound of parental rejection, generational trauma and how one person's pain becomes another's childhood, the external facade of success masking internal devastation, suicidal ideation as a coping mechanism not a desire to leave, the Brené Brown car park moment that changed everything, the Covid dark night that stripped it all back, emotional intelligence and the scale of consciousness, the inner critic and how to move toward the inner coach, connection before correction and how to raise emotionally healthy children, group healing and why shame dissolves in the presence of others, and what it feels like to finally fall in love with the woman in the mirror.
Today, Nerida Bint is an emotional intelligence coach and mentor working with women across Australia and beyond, helping them understand the childhood wounds driving their patterns, release shame, and step into the version of themselves they were always meant to be. She has recently moved to Melbourne, found the love of her life, and is building a life that once felt completely out of reach.
We were so glad she stayed.

Warren Rankine | Left Behind at 2, Out at 14 & Everything He Built From Nothing
Warren Rankine's story is one of displacement, survival, and an extraordinary determination to build a life from scratch. Placed in an orphanage at two years old, separated from his sisters due to his Aboriginal heritage, and cycling through foster families until he ran away at 14, his earliest memories are of being left behind. And yet, what he built from there is nothing short of remarkable.
What followed wasn't just hardship, but a long road of near misses, self-determination, and an unrelenting drive to become something different to what life handed him.
⚠️ Content Warning: This episode contains discussions of childhood trauma, foster care, and themes of loss and grief. Listener discretion is advised.
In this conversation, Warren shares what it was like to grow up as a ward of the state, to be separated from his family due to his mixed Aboriginal heritage, and to watch his mother drive away at six years old and not see her again for years. He opens up about the misadventure that followed, the sliding door moments that could have taken his life in a very different direction, and how he found a way out.
We also explore the three devastating events that finally pushed him to finish a book he'd been writing for ten years, the death of his mother, the sudden loss of his young nephew on a football field, and a federal court battle that tested everything he'd built. And we go deep on Aboriginal identity, what it meant to grow up not always being recognised as the man he knew himself to be, and the moment a respected indigenous elder changed all of that without a single prompt.
This episode isn't just about surviving a hard start.
It's about what it takes to rewrite a story that was never supposed to have a good ending.
We explore foster care and displacement, Aboriginal identity and mixed heritage, family separation, misadventure and sliding door moments, loss and grief, resilience and self-determination, building a business from nothing, legacy, and the courage it takes to tell your own story.
Warren reflects on a life lived on his own terms, forged through adversity, shaped by loss, and driven by a refusal to let his beginning define his end.
Today, Warren is also the author of his book 15ft Tall, where he shares his remarkable story in full, the raw, the real, and the deeply human journey of a man who had every reason to fall and chose, every time, to get back up.
We were privileged to sit down with Warren for a candid, powerful, and deeply moving conversation.

The Seeker's Journey | Paul Lubicz: Adoption, Ayahuasca & the Long Road Back to Yourself
Paul Lubicz's story is one of searching, performance, and the long, winding road back to the self. Born in Perth and adopted as an infant, Paul was told the truth at four years old, and without the tools to understand what it meant, his young mind landed on the only conclusion it could, that he was not wanted, not enough, and somehow at fault. What followed was a lifetime of overachieving, people pleasing and looking outside himself for the wholeness he couldn't find within.
The search would take him across the world.
In this conversation, Paul opens up about the decades spent chasing validation through performance, from manufacturing chemist to personal trainer, from a column in the Sunday Times to the super yachts of the ultra-wealthy. He shares the moment a cranial sacral session in Cannes cracked him open, the ten nights of ayahuasca in the Peruvian Amazon that rearranged the furniture of his mind, and the dark room retreat that left him nowhere to hide from himself.
This episode isn't just about one man's journey across continents and consciousness. It's about what becomes possible when you finally stop performing and start being.
We explore the primal wound of adoption and the stories a child creates to survive, the compensatory performance and the hunger for outside validation, meeting a biological mother at nineteen and the truth that still wasn't enough, a DNA test in his forties that sent him back into freefall, cranial sacral therapy at Cannes and the first heart opening, the Landmark Forum and being dismantled on stage, ten nights of ayahuasca in the Peruvian Amazon, nine days of water fasting and a three day dark room retreat, qigong, shamanism, Ho'oponopono and learning how to pray, and why he now dedicates his life to making business leaders more conscious, more benevolent and more free.
Today, Paul Lubicz is a coach and consciousness guide working with CEOs and leaders across the globe, helping them trade performance for presence and confusion for clarity. He has studied under some of the world's most respected teachers across shamanism, qigong, plant medicine, executive coaching and prayer, and brings every layer of that experience into the room with him.
We were privileged to sit down with Paul for a raw, honest, and deeply powerful conversation.

Georgie Collinson: High-Functioning Anxiety, the Subconscious Mind & Coming Home to Yourself
Georgie Collinson's story is one of high achievement, hidden pain, and the quiet courage it takes to finally stop performing and start healing. Growing up the youngest of three in Melbourne, Georgie was the good girl, the one who followed the rules, got the grades, and learned early how to hold herself together. But underneath the surface, anxiety was building. And when a family holiday in Bali at nineteen shattered everything she thought was solid, the foundation she'd been standing on turned to quicksand.
What followed was a decade of searching.
In this conversation, Georgie opens up about the years spent chasing answers through nutrition, naturopathy, affirmations and self-help, and what she found when none of it was enough. She shares how hypnotherapy and subconscious work became the turning point that changed not just her anxiety, but the patterns she'd been unconsciously living out since childhood.
We also dive deep into the mechanics of high-functioning anxiety, what it actually looks like on a Tuesday morning, why success and anxiety so often travel together, and why the women who look like they have it most together are often the ones who need this conversation most. We explore the subconscious mind, childhood imprints and scarcity patterns, the gut-anxiety connection, why the opposite of fear is love not calm, and what it means to truly become your own parent.
This episode isn't just about anxiety. It's about what becomes possible when you stop outsourcing your trust and come back to yourself.
We explore childhood scarcity and the patterns it leaves behind, a family crisis that shattered a nineteen year old's world, perfectionism and the high-achieving woman's trap, the subconscious roots of anxiety and how hypnotherapy unlocks them, the gut-brain-anxiety connection, autoimmune conditions and self-attack, the contraceptive pill and women's self-trust, what anxiety is actually trying to tell you, and why love, not calm, is the real antidote to fear.
Today, Georgie works with women around the world as a hypnotherapist and subconscious mind coach, guiding them through a 12-month journey from chronic stress and self-doubt into what she calls becoming a calm woman. She trained under world-renowned therapist Marissa Peer and brings her own lived experience into every session she holds.
We were privileged to sit down with Georgie for a raw, honest, and deeply powerful conversation.

Maria Kairouz | Coercive Control, Healing After Abuse & What It Means to Be Safe for Someone
This episode is being released during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month - May 2026. We are proud to be using our platform to keep this conversation going.
Our resident psychotherapist Maria Kairouz returns for round two and she doesn't hold back.
In this conversation, Maria brings her lived experience as a domestic and family violence worker to the table and gets real about the questions most people are too afraid to ask. What is coercive control, and how do you know if you're experiencing it? What does safety actually look like in a relationship? And why are so many people choosing to stay in destruction rather than face the fear of leaving?
This episode goes deeper than statistics. Maria explores how childhood conditioning quietly shapes the patterns we repeat in adulthood, why power and control always trace back to insecurity, and what it truly means to take accountability for your choices, whether you're the one who's been hurt, or the one doing the hurting.
She speaks candidly about the healing journey after abuse, why leaving can feel more dangerous than staying, and what communities, men, and families can actually do to create safer spaces for everyone.
This isn't a conversation about blame. It's about awareness, accountability, and the courage to do better.
We speak about coercive control and emotional abuse, domestic and family violence statistics, the role of childhood trauma and conditioning, drugs, alcohol and unsafe environments, self-compassion and self-regulation, narcissism and manipulation, the healing journey, masculine vulnerability, and what safety truly means in relationships.

The Switch - Jessica Lynne on Mediumship, Spirit, and the Healing That Had to Come First
Jessica Lynne's journey into mediumship didn't begin with a dramatic revelation, it began with grief, curiosity, and a stranger telling her she was sitting on the wrong side of the table.
From losing her grandmother and her sister, to decades of seeking connection with those she'd lost, Jessica's path to becoming a medium was shaped as much by her own healing as it was by her gift.
In this conversation, Jessica shares how her gift first revealed itself and why she couldn't access it until she did the inner work first. We explore what it actually means to be a medium, how she learned to turn her ability on and off like a light switch, and the system she uses to separate her own thoughts from the messages coming through.
She opens up about the loss of her sister at 28, the signs that followed, and the moment a bowl flew across the room in the middle of the night. She speaks honestly about the energy it takes for spirit to communicate, why her sister is still in her words, a bit of a "shit stirrer," and how grief and humour can exist in the same breath.

The Turning Point: Healing, Aliveness & Reclaiming the Self - with Prue Barnes
This is an episode to approach thoughtfully. Not because the story is too heavy to hold but because it is real in a way most people aren’t used to hearing. We sit down with Prue Barnes, a Feminine Embodiment and Energy Healing practitioner whose work focuses on helping women reconnect with their inner feminine wisdom, cultivate safety in their bodies and rediscover their aliveness.
Prue shares a moment in her childhood that changed everything, a life-altering shock that reshaped her family forever. The world she knew shifted overnight, and although life continued, something fundamental was lost. She speaks openly about how that early grief formed cracks that later expressed themselves in silence, confusion, and a sense of being disconnected from her own worth and identity.
As she grew older, those unspoken wounds transformed into self-destructive patterns, chasing distractions, pushing limits, numbing pain. And then came more heartbreak: miscarriage, the collapse of the version of life she thought she was “supposed” to have, and the painful but necessary ending of a marriage. Each breakdown became a doorway to deeper self-awareness.
But the most powerful part of her story isn’t the pain, it’s what she did with it. Through embodiment, inner work and the courage to look within, Prue rebuilt from the inside out. She now guides women through the same process: turning survival into sovereignty.
This conversation is about what happens when the life you built no longer fits and the bravery it takes to choose yourself.
In this episode we explore:
• A childhood moment that forever changed the shape of family and identity
• The invisible grief that follows us into adulthood
• How pain can turn into patterns of chaos, pushing limits, and self-abandonment
• The crushing silence of miscarriage and losing the life you imagined
• Divorce as an initiation into truth, awakening, and rebirth
• The power of feminine embodiment and the wisdom held in the body
• Relearning safety, belonging, and aliveness
• Choosing healing not as a destination, but a life-long return to self
If you’ve ever felt like your life has come undone, questioned who you are beneath the roles you play, or wondered whether it’s possible to rebuild when everything feels lost, Prue’s story is a reminder that transformation begins the moment you decide you deserve more.

In this powerful episode, we sit down with Wyarta Miller, a Ngangkari, Indigenous healer and First Nations Bush Doctor whose life and work carry one of the most ancient healing lineages on Earth.
Born with Ancestral gifts and given the Traditional Aboriginal desert name ‘Wiramai’, Wyarta is a Ngangkari, an Indigenous healer born with the ability to communicate, see, and work across multiple dimensions.
From childhood, Wyarta has had the capacity to heal, remove sickness and pain, and align spirit with body. Her work is not only about treating symptoms, it’s about restoring the strength and balance that allows people to heal themselves.
This is a conversation about culture, connection, and the unseen forces that shape our well-being. It’s about remembering that some of the most powerful medicine comes from wisdom far older than modern science.
In this episode we explore:
• What it means to be a Ngangkari and how these gifts are passed down
• The deep spiritual and physical aspects of Indigenous healing
• How ancient practices address sickness, pain, and trauma at the root
• The role of spirit alignment in physical health
If you’ve ever been curious about traditional Aboriginal healing, the unseen dimensions of health, or the wisdom of cultures that have been here since the beginning of time, this episode will open your eyes and heart.
