What does a modern day ark look like?

In last night’s Zoom call we examined Hebrews 11:7 where Noah, being warned of God of things to come, that we’re not yet, moved with fear, built an Ark to the saving of his family… The steady elevated Noah in our minds and it made for a humbling comparison in our own lives on how, with the Holy Spirit dwelling within us, the majority, if not all of us, are incredibly high underachievers when it comes to our spiritual journey; Which produced a very humbling and sober reality. The study concluded with very pertinent details on the unified effort of the people, under Nimrod‘s leadership, to maximize the people's one/echad language and one/echad speech to make bricks brick, burn burn them, build a city and a tower and make a name for themselves lest they be scattered across the face of the Earth. It was eerily reminiscent of what’s going on in Countries around the world. This too was humbling and sobering, but then again as Yeshua Said, "as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the coming of the son of man" (Lk. 17:26, 28).

God will use the very comfort/noah of our society to bring about His judgment (Gen. 5:29; 6:6,7). Huh?

Understanding our genealogy through Adam to Messiah or Am I really living out my heritage?

Last night's lesson on this morning's study :-)  Day 1 is essential, but wait til you get to day 6!

Over the past 9 days we have worked diligently to prove or disprove that Jesus/Yeshua is the Messiah that Scripture speaks of. We have covered a lot of territory from Him as King, to Lord, to Shepherd, to the One Who gathers the dispersed, to the suffering servant, Messiah ben Joseph and Messiah Ben David, the Prophet like unto Moses and the One greater than Moses who died, rose again and will, like Joshua lead us into the Promised Land during the Greater Exodus

Throughout Sukkot 2025 we have focused on building an 'airtight' case that Yeshua is the Messiah; first as Messiah Ben Joseph and ultimately Messiah Ben David.

We know that Yeshua, like Joshua and many of the other Prophets,  is the Prophet like unto Moses (Deut. 18:15; Acts 3:22-24), but, unlike the other Prophets, He is greater than Moses (Heb. 3:3; Zech. 6:12,13). In last night's study we showed the cross in the Moses story; the battle of Amalek (Ex. 17) the brazen serpent (Num. 21; Jn. 3) and the Abraham-Isaac story in Genesis 22. Yet, Yeshua, the suffering servant, the Lamb of Isaiah 53:7 literally gave up His life. Hence, Yeshua > Moses.

A Prophet Like Moses, and one greater

Yeshua is the Messiah Ben Yoseph, the suffering servant, revealed in the Gospels and Revelation or "shampoo and conditioner in the same bottle :-)

Our Messiah as the suffering servant for the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Isa. 52:13-53:9; Jer. 11:18-23)

Will the real Messiah please stand up! Do I really know who Yeshua is? Who is King David's Lord (Psa. 110; Psa. 2; Matt. 22:441-46)

I've been bought by the heavenly Master. Should I obey His commands or be free to do what I want?

Why would I want another Rock when I have Yeshua (Deut. 32:4)

The Song of Moses and the Song of the Lamb (Deut. 32; Rev. 15:3); restoring the world by clinging to the Rock who bought us!

In yesterday's zoom call, we examined 3 different prophetic passages urging us to come back, to return/shuv, to our covenant partner (Hos. 14; Mic. 7; Joel 2). This season leading up to Yom Kippur is all about returning, so that we may be in a position to receive mercy from the Most Merciful! Are you returning or just drawing near with your lips (Matt. 15:8; Isa. 29:13)?

I want you to imagine...(Deut. 29-31)

Strong and courageous/rak chazak amats, living in the fear of God not the fear of the enemy or living on the see-saw of life with God (Deut. 31)

"Am I living a covenant life and am I standing with those who are"? Or "Are the secret things of the Lord getting revealed to me"?

In last night's zoom call we. reached beyond our imagination (climbing a ladder) and we chose to stand together/nitzavim as we entered into His covenant; which is not too difficult for any of us! But is mandatory if we want to live life to the fullest, experience His profound protection and much more. Are you in covenant with Him?

0-65 in 3.5 seconds or work out your salvation with fear and trembling through diligently obeying His voice and all that He's commanded (Phil. 2:12-16; Ex. 19, 24; Deut. 26:16; 28:1; 30:1-10)

Both the blessings and the curses prove God's faithfulness. Which will I consciously choose to walk in?

A covenant of obedience leads to a life of blessing beyond our wildest dreams!

In last night's call we connected a lot of pieces of the "inheritance puzzle" found within this week's Torah portion, Ki Tavo/when you come in. Through the story of Joseph, his bones, the land of Shechem and Jacob's well we drew some pretty straightforward conclusions on living a life of blessing and curses. When we realize Paul was referencing the valley of dry bones (Eze. 37) in Ephesians 4, our spiritual antennas should go up on how to live "perfect/telios" in relationship to our inheritance which is obtained by walking in Spirit and in Truth.

You'll want a notepad and a writing utensil for this simple and graphic revelation on why to be obedient to all of God's commandments; or is that impossible? Inquiring minds want to know :-)

As we learned in our studies this last week, there are 31 topics and 74 Commandments in Ki Teitze… That’s a boatload. But, as we found out in yesterday's zoom call they can all be summed up in one word: honor

Life is a war and it's filled with distractions, but more importantly, your perspective on every detail of life is paramount to your success (Deut. 21:10-14; 22:6,7)!

In last night's zoom call we examined the five individuals, four of the five are mandatory, in this week's Torah portion, Shoftim/judge, and how we should have all 5 displayed in our daily lives if we want to make an impact in this world. And with each one I gave a descriptive word to evaluate our lives by:

• Judge-discernment
• Officer-boundaries
• Priest-devotion
• King-guidance
• Prophet-intuition

In last night's zoom call, we spent the evening talking about the most over emphasized topic and under performed topic in all of modern evangelicalism: Judging/shoftim and enforcing/shoftrim (Deut. 16:18-20)

Listen. Do and see the results. It's the key to not destroying His name.

In our Zoom call, Sabbath morning, we detailed out this reciprocating relationship, emphasizing the importance of always recognizing and giving thanks to the One Who provides everything: full belly (Deut. 8:10), my house (Deut. 8:12), my wealth (Deut. 8:13) and the devastating trap of what happens when I think that I've done it on my own (Deut. 8:18-20).

The book of Deuteronomy is a Suzerain covenant that screams attack, attack, attack, and attack. You've been going around this mountain too long. Be on the offensive. Achieve your goal. Make an impact in the world. Live in such a way that people want what you’ve got; as I shared with you on Monday night Zoom call.

Knowing and fulfilling your destiny in this world

In our Sabbath zoom call, yesterday, we addressed the 3 reasons why you would display 'faith/emunah', trust, in someone (God, an individual or even an object). They are in chronological order. In order to have a little faith you'll have to have all three. Which begs us to ask the question, why would Yeshua say that there are times when His disciples have "no faith" (Deut. 32:20; Mk. 4:40)? I address that in the second part of the teaching and explain through the Torah portion Devarim/words how to overcome them in order to enter the Land of your inheritance.

In last night's zoom call we started our study in Deuteronomy/Devarim/words/logos, but quickly left the text of Deuteronomy 1:39 to devote our time to  1 John's revelation of little children and their three stages of growth (paidion, teknion, teknon).
