Sitting Ovations SEQ
By Hannah Davies
Rock me Amadeus
Episode 3 of Sitting Ovations SEQ is packed with theatre chat, tell-all reviews and a little bit of mischief.
We sit down with Amadeus cast members Michael Ware and Alex Dundas-Taylor to talk about bringing the iconic production to the stage. Plus stand-up comic turned actor Chemark Rehder joins us to share how he made the leap from the comedy circuit to the world of theatre.
There's also gossip from on and off stage, and Chat Man returns with his thoughts on theatre blackouts.
Nicholas Joy on Idol shame and Shane Warne fame
From his Australian Idol audition experience (yes, we go there) to bringing Shane Warne The Musical to life, Nicholas Joy shares the highs, the lessons and the unexpected twists that have shaped his creative journey. It’s honest, funny and a little bit cringe - in the best possible way.
The Chat Man is back, unpacking all the pre-casting chatter and the whispers you didn’t know you needed to hear.
And the other Nick - Nicholas Hargreaves - drops in to tell us all about his new musical, Flight.
Make sure to give it a big sitting ovation!
