It's clear that God does not want anyone to perish, but that all would come to repentance and be saved. This is testified to throughout Scripture (2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 2:3–4; Ezekiel 18:23; Ezekiel 33:11; John 3:16–17), which consistently reveals God's gracious desire to save all people through Christ.
