"Hello there!" It's been a good 2 whole months since our last upload and we'd love to share some quick updates about ourselves and our progress on The Living Force. Big changes are happening and we'd love to let you know what's coming your way!

Since 2019 The Living Force has been delivering our take on Star Wars stories and content to help nerds everywhere dive deeper into the expanded universe. We've grown over the years with audio podcasts, live video, and recorded content and now there's a new horizon to explore. The TLF crew will reflect back on early podcasts, award shows, various hurdles we've overcome, and what we'll miss the most about the current iteration of The Living Force. Corey, Charles, Eric, and Wes are stepping away from the podcast for now but a new studio will emerge in the future. We can't wait for you to join us!

We have some amazing changes in the Youtini pipeline and TLF is progressing into a brand new format. Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View - Return of the Jedi is a collection of short stories that give us character points of view not scene in the cinematic film. We'll rank each of the stories using TierMaker to give our thoughts on which ones make us want to rewatch the movie most. As always, we're taking our chat into consideration on how we move these stories within the ranks. Let us know in the comments what your favorite stories are that didn't make the cinematic cut.

All Rise! You are in attendance today to witness the rankings review of our beloved Star Wars literature. Youtini has worked painstakingly to derive the most balanced and accurate rankings of Star Wars books available. The TLF prosecution will bring forth their favorite novels and argue their evidence for climbing the ranking system. We'll cross-examine, debate, rebuttal, and flat out laugh hysterically while giving our best arguments. Is Youtini's foundational books expanded due to this trial?

Ranking the BEST Star Wars Canon Books!

Eric sits down with Delilah S. Dawson to discuss her newest book, Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade. The duo dive into the reasons writers are always trying to appease the snakes in their heads, how Iskat Akaris represents a voice for the bullied and misunderstood, and the beauty of flow in every type of art.

The original Star Wars films have progressed into animation, live-action TV shows, and all forms of media over the years with little to show in award hardware. Emmy nominations have recently flooded the Star Wars universe with innovative series such as The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan, and Andor. We'll discuss the history of Star Wars award accomplishments and debate the importance of being recognized at The Emmys and The Oscars.

Creatures, Aliens, Monsters. What are your favorites from the Star Wars universe? The TLF crew will select 5 of their most treasured Star Wars creatures and vote on whose squad is the supreme leader!

The second Death Star was blown to bits and the evil Emperor Palpatine was vanquished! On the moon of Endor, dancing and parties in the trees ensued , and the Rebels celebrated in glorious victory...but had the war just begun? We'll discuss our feelings on the final scenes of Return of the Jedi, the sequel trilogy and additional conflicts from new stories and adventures, and if the "ONLY fight" spoken by Maz Kanata is truly the battle against the dark side of the Force.

What's coming down the hyperspace lanes for Star Wars 2023? The Ahsoka TV Series on Disney+, new books and comics from across the eras, AND the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi. These new releases can slip right by us if we don't get a reminder and what better way to hype up the crowd than with a Star Wars...Refresher.

Star Wars gaming is coming through with Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and the newly announced first-ever, open-world Star Wars game, Star Wars Outlaws. We'll talk gameplay, storylines, and characters as we gear up for the release of Outlaws and the future of the Star Wars Jedi series.

Star Wars: Visions Season 2 released on Disney+ May the 4th as an animated anthology series from studios all around the world including South Korea, France, India, Japan, and South Africa for our Part 2 review. The TLF crew will discuss the last 5 episodes of the short film series beginning with "Journey to the Dark Head", "The Spy Dancer", "The Bandits of Golak", "The Pit", and finally "Aau's Song." These stories take place within the mythos of the Star Wars Universe and celebrate multiple studios through intelligent, cultural storytelling.

"Yoda, you seek Yoda." The wise Jedi Master is in the spotlight this week to celebrate his Canon years with the upcoming release of "Star Wars: Yoda - Dark Rendezvous" Essential Legends Collection. The TLF crew will revisit his impact in the Empire/Exile Era, the reintroduction of his character via CGI in the Prequel Era, and the stories from The High Republic Era.

Be sure to check out Legends Lookback on Thursdays at 9:30PM EST where they will review Yoda's Legends influence throughout the years before the Disney acquisition.

The AI overlords have commandeered our controls and TLF is at the mercy of ChatGPT. With our Lord and Savior Eric Organa out of the office this evening, the rest of the crew must adhere to the demands of a computer-generated leader. Star Wars is going purely AI as we generate topics and discussion points from all things Star Wars and try to survive without our charismatic front man.

Star Wars means different things to different people. The multiple avenues of content that have developed over the years since A New Hope helped to create new experiences and construct brand-new audiences. With movies, TV shows, books, and comics, Star Wars can hit on almost any emotion or mood of the day. Our hosts will discuss what is emphatically Star Wars to them and what excites them about the franchise right now!

Star Wars The High Republic: Cataclysm by Lydia Kang is next up in Youtini's roundtable series with a detailed plot synopsis, overarching questions that encompass each of the main characters, and Easter Egg finds that are pulled from all reaches of the Star Wars Universe

Eric sits down with return guest and heralded High Republic author, Cavan Scott! In addition to Cavan's latest release, Path of Vengeance, the pair discuss the massive success of The High Republic, the future of the industry changing initiative, and the most important character in the Galactic Canon...Jaxxon.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a third-person action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment that picks up from the highly rated Jedi: Fallen Order title released in 2019. A short list of creators and reviewers were offered the chance to preview early gameplay footage of the new release, and TLF is lucky to have one of those creators, Darth Choco, to fill us in on what the experience was like, what new gameplay features we can expect, and predictions on what may happen to our hero Cal Kestis. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on Friday, April 28th.

Eric sits down with Sam Maggs, author of Jedi: Battle Scars, to talk about her process of writing the latest adventure with the Mantis crew! Sam also details her career that spans working in gaming journalism, IP comics, and beyond, and the pair discuss once and for all who is the best Dragon Age companion of all time.
