We did the thing. We showed up for the Fire Sabbat… we lit the candles, called in the energy, celebrated, maybe even pushed ourselves a little outside our comfort zone… and now? Now we are sitting in the after space.

In this episode, we are talking about something that doesn’t always get as much attention but is just as important as the celebration itself: Integration Magic. Because high-energy Sabbats like Beltane don’t just come and go. They shift things. They open doors. They stir emotions, ideas, desires, and sometimes even a little chaos. We worked with fire after all! And if we don’t take the time to integrate that energy, it can feel overwhelming, scattered, or just… incomplete. So today, we slow it down.

We talk about what it means to come back to ourselves after the fire, how to gently process what moved through us and how to take all that beautiful, expansive energy and actually weave it into our everyday lives (our routines, our work, our relationships and the things we are building). This is the part where the magic sticks.

So if you’re feeling a little tired, a little reflective or like you’re not quite sure what comes next… you are exactly where you’re supposed to be!

May 1st is just a couple of days away and for our Wheel of the Year celebrations, we have a fire festival! And I mean that in every sense of the word. Beltane is here and there is heat. There is movement, passion, creation, connection and just a little bit of that wild, untamed energy that reminds us we are alive.

Last week, we grounded ourselves. We talked about protection, about setting up our wards, about how we hold our energy as everything around us begins to open and expand. And we did that for a reason. Because now we get to step into the celebration side of Beltane.

This is where the spark turns into something more. Where ideas begin to catch fire. Where connections deepen and where we give ourselves permission to feel excited again ... about life, about our work and about what we are building.

And today… today we are celebrating like a family. Because it’s party time! Today, we’re lighting the fire. We are calling in our family, our friends, our spirits. We’re inviting in the Fae and the Fairies and stepping fully into the circle of celebration together. Because Beltane isn’t just another day on the calendar. It’s a turning point. It’s a moment on the Wheel of the Year where everything shifts into bloom. Where the energy moves from planning and planting into living, expressing and celebrating what is already growing around us.

We have a BIG fire celebration coming up next week and with it comes a BIG Full Moon! So before we jump headfirst into the fun Beltane episode, I wanted to take a moment and talk about protection work and Beltane wards. Because with big celebrations, big openings, and big energy like Beltane we are not just calling in joy and abundance. We are opening doors. And that’s a beautiful thing but it also means we want to be intentional about what we’re allowing in and how we’re holding ourselves while everything begins to expand.

So instead of walking into this next week with just our party hats on… I thought it would be really important for us to talk about protection, boundaries, and how we hold our energy steady while the world around us starts to bloom. So today… we’re doing just that. We are talking about protection work and Beltane wards so that when we step into that fire next week… we’re doing it grounded, supported, and fully in our power!

And yes, we’re going to talk a little about the Fae… the fair folk… and how they weave into this energy along with the wards we can set for this powerful turning of the Wheel of the Year.

Last week in our episode Death, the Veil, and What Comes Next… we sat together in some really big questions. Thank you again for staying with me for it (I know it’s not an easy conversation to have).  We talked about the different ways people understand what happens when we die. This week I would like to pick up where we left off and talk about working with death energy.

At its core, death energy asks us to let go.  To notice what is no longer aligned, what feels heavy, what feels complete or what has in fact actually ended …. and to allow it to end. And I know that sounds simple when we say it like that but if we’re being honest, this is where a lot of us get stuck.   Or where I certainly did. Because even when something isn’t working anymore, even when we know we’ve outgrown it, there’s still a part of us that wants to hold on.  It’s natural.  We do it out of habit or comfort or sometimes even out of fear of what comes next.  So working with death energy as release… is really about creating space to consciously let something go.

If there’s one thing I hope you can take with you after listening today, it’s that Death energy is not something separate from your life. It’s woven into it.  It’s in every ending, every shift, every little moment where something no longer feels the way it used to.  And the more we allow ourselves to see it, name it and work with it … the less it feels like something that’s happening to us… And the more it becomes something we can move with.

Today we are stepping into a topic that I think (at some point) every single one of us wonders about. We’re talking about death and sitting in the mystery a little bit.  We are going to walk through some of the ways people have understood death and what comes after it. Not to decide which one is right but just talk about the options and notice what resonates. Because as witches, we don’t always need a single answer.  Right? We work with energy and cycles and transformation and death is a part of that.

Death is a sensitive topic for most people. It’s heavy and it usually brings up some kind of feeling. Whether that’s grief, memory, fear, curiosity… or just that painful ache that sits in the background when we think about the people and animals and things we’ve lost.  So please know I really appreciate you tuning into this episode and choosing to share this space with me today to talk about it. I promise I am going to be very mindful today.

I do have a trigger warning on this episode. I think most of my episodes are family friendly (kinda ... or for the most part).  I don’t edit specifically for kids or children to listen to, but I think generally most all of my episodes can be heard by a pretty wide age range.  And I am assuming if you do share any of these episodes with younger ages, you are listening first to see if it’s appropriate.  Please do the same thing today.  The trigger is not just for kids ... but for everyone. There is a personal sensitive section to this episode with a story of something I experienced. I have decided not to talk about it in depth today, just the overview. What happens when we die?  Across cultures, for many, many generations… people have held very different ideas about what happens after our bodies die. Some of those beliefs are rooted in religion, some in tradition, some in personal experience and some in that deep human need to understand what we can’t fully see. Today we are going to open the door to some of those perspectives. We are going to talk about the veil (that space between worlds) and what could come next. We are going to sit with the mystery a little bit!

I love the timing of this one showing up for us right now. The Swan Spirit! Because if you follow things even just a little bit from an astronomical or cyclical perspective… we’ve just closed out a really big chapter. A full 9-year cycle has come to an end and here we are, standing at the beginning of a brand new one in 2026.  And over the past few episodes… we’ve been talking a lot about intention. About what we actually WANT our lives to look like. But even more than that… what we want them to FEEL like. Because …  the next 9 years? Those are our chapters to write. And I am right there with you when I say… let’s write them in a way that feels aligned, honest and as beautiful as they possibly can be.

My theme with much of the work with The Swan is ... what are we being asked to look at more deeply right now?  And instead of rushing to solve it (or pushing it away) we are going to just sit with it and let ourselves go a little deeper.  We are going to ask… Why?  Why am I feeling this way?  Why am I choosing this?  Why am I holding onto this … or stepping toward it?  And then, when you think you have the answer, we are going to ask it one more time.  Because that’s where I think The Swan Spirit meets us.  Not on the surface…  but in that next layer down.

The Swan Spirit brings us a reminder that if we really want that kind of life (that kind of clarity) we can’t stay on the surface.  We have to be willing to go deeper.  So sit back and relax… I’ve got ya covered for the next hour and I feel like I have a little pep back in my step today. Since we’ve been talking so much about ideas forming, things growing quietly before they’re ready to hatch and protecting our energy while we build something meaningful ... I thought it might be the perfect time for us to step into a little conversation about eggshell magic.  Because once you start looking at eggs through a magical lens, you realize they are doing far more than just holding breakfast. They are tiny little containers of transformation. And the shell itself? That shell carries a kind of quiet, earthy magic that witches have been working with for generations.

For centuries, witches and magical practitioners have worked with eggshells for protection, cleansing, boundaries, and even for strengthening the energetic walls around a space. Something that looks so ordinary in the kitchen can actually become a really potent magical ingredient once we start working with it intentionally.

The Wheel of the Year is turning once again and today is all about Ostara and The Witch’s Spring Reset. 

We have our Spring equinox happening in just a couple of days but this year I want to approach this sabbat a little differently than I have in the past.  If you’ve been listening to this podcast for a while, you know we have talked about the history of the holiday, the symbolism of eggs and hares, the balance of light and dark and all of those beautiful traditional correspondences that come with this turning point in the season.  But this time I kept thinking about something a little simpler.  Spring doesn’t arrive all at once. Yes, there is a date on the calendar but it doesn’t just burst through the door.  Really … it kind of sneaks in quietly. One day the light stays a little longer in the evening. I am sure you are feeling that the air is a little softer. The birds are louder in the morning. And our beautiful earth just starts to stretch after the long sleep of winter.  And if you pay attention… we start stretching a little too.

Our Spring equinox gives us this beautiful moment of balance.  Perfect balance!  Day and night standing equal for just a brief moment.  And that balance creates the perfect little pause point in the year. A moment where we can step back, take a breath and look around at our lives the same way the earth is looking around right now. What needs refreshing?  What tiny seeds are we ready to plant for the months ahead?  What will the future summer version of you be happy you did right now?

Today we’re going to talk about cleaning spaces, resetting our magical practice, noticing the seasonal shifts happening right outside our doors and planting the kinds of intentions that we would like to see grow over the next six months. And really… this might be one of the most practical Ostara conversations we’ve had together yet! So grab your tea, settle in, and let’s talk about the witch’s spring reset.

Let’s talk about Servitors!

Servitors are essentially created energetic entities designed with a specific purpose in mind. Think of them like little magical assistants that you intentionally create to support a goal, a task or a particular type of energy you want working in your life. In many ways servitor magic is simply focused intention, symbolism and creative energy working together.

In this episode we are exploring what servitors actually are, where this idea comes from in magical traditions and how we can incorporate them into our own magical practices in a thoughtful, grounded way.

And I’ll share a little personal story too… I’m actually two + years into a relationship with a servitor I created specifically to support my company. When I first started researching this type of magic, I kept running into words like egregores and tulpas and honestly … I was a little confused about where the lines were. So, if you’ve ever been curious about this topic, or you’ve run into those same questions, we’re going to sort it out together.

It has been so much fun working with this spirit.  Giraffes are kind of quiet, graceful, almost understated animals really when you think about all of the animal spirits we have in this world.  They represent height. Perspective. Distance. Clarity.  They stretch upward to reach the treetops. They look out across the landscape from a vantage point most other animals don’t have. And I started thinking about how often we live our lives at eye level. Right in the brush, the weeds …. the email inbox. Right in the argument, the to-do lists …. reacting, responding and handling whatever is directly in front of our face.  And Giraffe Spirit shows up and gently says… what if you lifted your head? What if you stretched your neck just a little higher to see if there is something you’re not seeing because you are too close to it?  That hit me.  And not so much as a personal life direction hit … but a business hit.  So hopefully you’ll be good with the direction I am going today.  Because it's all about this animal spirit in our business worlds.

Today it is about perspective and understanding the ecosystem you’re standing in. Your work, your relationships, your goals, your worries and recognizing that you are part of something larger than the moment directly in front of you.  So let’s stretch our necks together today (wink). Let’s lift our view. And let’s see what Giraffe Spirit wants to show us.

Motivation. Energy. Follow-through. You know …. that invisible push that helps us begin (and the invisible wall that sometimes makes beginning feel impossible).  Today’s episode is called Dopamine Magic: The Witch’s Guide to Motivation. And it is a witchy reframe of how motivation actually works, how dopamine actually works, and how we can start collaborating with our own energy instead of constantly fighting it.

I think motivation is something that a lot of us quietly struggle with, even if we don’t always have the words for it. I want to talk about it in a witchy way today …. and get a little curious with it. The kind of way where we start realizing maybe we’re not lazy, maybe we’re not failing, maybe we’re just working with our human brains and human nervous systems and very real natural cycles.   I am hoping we can have a cozy pep talk with a reminder that we get to work with our own energy … and learn how our energy (like our own personal energy) actually moves. And …. We get to make it magical!

Planting season is an energetic shift. It’s the moment where ideas start stretching and we get that quiet internal whisper of … something wants to grow. Sometimes we know exactly what that something is (like for me last year). And sometimes we really don’t. Sometimes it's just mood. But that’s okay. All of it counts.

Planting season is about choosing what we’re going to give our energy to on purpose. Because whether we mean to or no we are always feeding something. A habit. A thought. A story. A relationship. A project. A version of ourselves. Planting season just makes it more visible.  For many of us it is the season of tiny promises.

So if you’ve been feeling a little restless (a little antsy like something is shifting but you can’t name it) that makes sense. That’s planting season. It’s the in-between. The almost. The not-yet. And it’s a really sacred place to be. This is our ….. everyday sacred. Us standing in our kitchens staring out windows thinking about what sounds good to eat. This is us wondering what we want more of in our lives. That’s where magic starts ... in noticing.

Today we are going to talk about one of those dates on the calendar that makes people react instantly. The moment you say it out loud, you can just feel the room split in half. Friday the 13th!

Some people hear Friday the 13th and they’re like “Nope. Absolutely not. Bad luck. I’m staying inside. I’m not making any big decisions today.” And then there’s the other group, the ones who are like, “Oooooh it’s Friday the 13th… let’s go!” Like it’s a portal day that is edgy and sacred and …. the perfect excuse to be extra witchy, dramatic and powerful. No matter what side you fall on, both reactions are valid.  Because whether we fear Friday the 13th or we love it… the day holds a charge in our culture. It just does. It has a story and a reputation and a vibe of its own.

It is a little funny ... it’s not like the universe looked down and declared “This day shall be cursed.”  That’s not how energy works. That’s not how magic works!  A lot of what we call “bad luck” around Friday the 13th is actually something much more human. It’s story, memory & tradition.  And, it’s a little bit of conditioning.  But aren’t a lot of things?   Because the fear of Friday the 13th didn’t come from one single thing.  It grew over time ... a bunch of old beliefs and superstitions and historical threads all tangled together like a witch’s knot of storytelling. And what happens when you mix two things people already feel weird about?  You get a date that’s basically branded as “something bad might happen today.”

Friday the 13th has become a moment where the world is collectively holding its breath.  And that, is exactly why we are flipping it.  Because we do not fear a charged day.  We use a charged day and say “Oh… the collective is stirred up today? Perfect! There’s power in that!".

Happy February! I am so excited you’re here with me today because this episode is one of those topics that sounds simple (like something we already know) and yet it’s one of the biggest, most powerful pieces of daily magic we practice.  Today’s episode is all about watching our words.   What we say to ourselves, to other people, in our spells… and what we whisper during our meditations. It is about what we say when we’re feeling inspired, and what we say when we’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or doubting ourselves.   The words we repeat out loud and, in our head, don’t just describe our lives… They shape our lives!

So today, we are going to use The Parrot Spirit energy as a mirror and we are going to look at what’s on repeat inside of us. And then… we are going to choose again.  Because this episode is all about reclaiming our voice, reclaiming our inner dialogue, and understanding something really important:  Thought is spellwork. Speech is spellwork.  And when we shift our words… we shift our whole world.

Imbolc sits pretty quietly on the Wheel of the Year for most of us.  It is right between the deep stillness of winter and the first real stirrings of spring. It usually falls on February 1st or 2nd, when the days are noticeably getting longer (even if the weather has not warmed up yet). This is the sabbat of light returning.

Traditionally, Imbolc is connected to fire, hearth, and renewal, but not the kind of renewal that bursts out of the ground all at once. This is the internal renewal that is happening right now. The kind that happens when something inside you quietly says “Okay… I think I’m ready to keep going.” Seeds are still underground. Plans are still forming. But the energy has in fact …. shifted. Winter is no longer just about resting. It is now …  about preparing.

So let’s spend a little time together today as we step into Imbolc, the sabbat of the returning light. It is going to be about the tiny shifts, the longer days, and that subtle inner knowing that something is starting to warm up again. We are talking about gentle momentum, unfinished beginnings, and the courage it takes all of us … to keep going without rushing the process. Today we are going to honor where we are right now on the Wheel of the Year. Tending the flame, trusting the timing, and welcoming the light back in, one small moment at a time.

Today ….. it’s about Quantum Physics! And, If you’ve ever done spell work, set intentions, worked with moon phases, felt energy shift in a room, or just known something was about to happen before it did, you already understand more than you think you do. You’ve been working with these concepts your whole life. Science is just finally catching up and trying to name them. There’s a quiet meeting point where science and witchcraft sit down at the same table, nod at each other, and say “Oh. You see it too".

As you listen, quantum physics will start to feel very familiar. Because in our world, we don’t start with outcomes, we start with intention. We don’t start with the thing, we start with the energy of the thing. The feeling of it. The desire for it. The alignment with it. So when we talk about magic shaping reality, we are not talking about pulling something out of nowhere. We are talking about working with what already exists in the field of possibility. We are nudging energy. We are aligning with certain outcomes and choosing which thread to follow.

Quantum physics isn’t about certainty. It’s about potential. And witches? We have always worked in that in-between space! The place where nothing is fully formed yet, but everything is possible.

Decluttering for witches is an energetic conversation! Because we don’t just live among objects. We live among memories, intentions, spells, seasons, and former versions of ourselves.  That candle wasn’t just wax and wick. It was a promise. That notebook wasn’t clutter.  It was a voice you once trusted. When we talk about decluttering as witches, we’re really talking about release without erasing things.  We are talking about honoring what was while making room for what is becoming.

What makes this a little tricky is that witches are natural keepers. We collect tools, symbols, books, jars, bones, feathers, stones .... not because we are messy, but because we understand meaning. We remember where things came from. We remember what they helped us through. And because of that, clutter can feel heavy in a way that’s hard to explain to anyone who doesn’t work with energy.    Clutter hums ... It whispers ... It pulls at us! Unfinished spells. Half-used tools. Objects tied to old identities or old griefs. All of it takes up space ... not just on shelves, but in the body and mind.  So when a witch declutters, we are not discarding carelessly.  We are completing cycles. Decluttering becomes a form of ritual when we stop asking “Do I need this?” and start asking, “Does this still support my magic, my energy, my life?”  And back to last week’s episode …. Does this support the way I want to FEEL in 2026?

A decluttered space doesn’t mean an empty space. It means a clear one.  It means when you sit at your altar, you feel focused instead of overwhelmed.  It means your tools feel alive instead of buried.  It means your home supports your nervous system instead of draining it.  And maybe most importantly ... decluttering reminds us that we get to choose. We choose what stays.  We choose what leaves.  We choose what version of ourselves we are making space for next.  Decluttering, for witches, is an act of self-respect. 

How do we declutter without guilt, without becoming overwhelmed, and without losing the magic tied to our things? Let’s break it down and talk about how we can approach this in a way that feels aligned and sustainable …. Today we are becoming a Decluttered Witch!

Happy 2026! Today is going to have a different flavor from years past. There will be some familiar themes and threads since this is our 5th season talking about goals and it is something I have done since my (long ago) teenage years. Today though ... we’re talking about choosing our magic for the year ahead. The goals we’re willing to commit to. The boundaries we’re finally ready to hold. And the kind of energy we actually want to live inside of in 2026 ... not just for January, but for the whole unfolding year. Think of this episode as us sitting together at the very edge of the year, Kinda like we did last week with our big Year of the Wheel review …. candle lit, notebook open, but this time we are asking ourselves one simple question: What do I want this year to feel like?

Today, we’re going to reframe what goal-setting looks like through a witchy lens. We are doing it the witchy way! We are going to talk about goals as living spells ... things that grow and evolve over time. We’re going to talk about boundaries as protective magic, not walls, but wards. And we’re going to talk about energy as the real currency of your year, because time means nothing if you’re exhausted inside it.  There’s no overwhelm here. No massive checklist. No pressure to have it all figured out by the end of this episode.  Just clarity. Just intention. Just choosing, on purpose, how we want to walk into 2026. And the best part? We don’t have to do it alone. We’re doing this together.  Today we are asking one gentle question together: What do I actually want this year to feel like when I’m living inside it?

Welcome to the very last episode of 2025!  I don’t know about you, but this moment always hits different. There’s something tender about the last episode of the year. Something sacred. Something that feels a bit like standing in the doorway of your home at night ... one hand on the knob, pausing, letting the warm air meet the cold, knowing you’re about to cross a threshold. And, well ... That is what today is. A threshold moment.  Because today, we’re slowing down. We’re gathering around our little Witchy Work Wishes hearth and we are reflecting on the Wheel of the Year. Not only as a set of dates and sabbats, but the Wheel of the Year as a living, breathing companion that’s walked beside us all year long.

The Wheel of the Year isn’t just a calendar for witches ... it’s a map of our growth. It’s a reminder that life isn’t linear. It’s cyclical. Rhythmic. Spiraled. We grow forward and inward and outward all at once. And when we pause at the end of the cycle and actually look back? We can finally see the story the year told us. A story we don’t always notice when we’re in the middle of living it.

So as 2025 falls gently behind us, I hope you carry the things that nourished you… and leave behind anything that weighed you down. I hope you trust yourself a little more deeply. I hope you honor your boundaries a little more fiercely. And I hope you step into 2026 with a sense of wonder .... soft curiosity and a willingness to grow in the ways your spirit is ready for.

And just know (truly know) that I’m walking into 2026 right alongside you. We’ll continue learning together, growing together, laughing together, lighting candles, pulling cards, drinking tea, and finding magic in the everyday moments.

Hello Witchy Work Wishes family… and Merry Christmas Eve. Tonight feels a little different, doesn’t it? The candles feel brighter, the house feels quieter, and even if it’s been a wild year, Christmas Eve always brings in this little pocket of peace that we can tuck ourselves into.

This is not going to be a super long episode … I really just wanted to come in and say hi and see how your Yule was shaping up.  I wanted to talk about family and traditions and rituals since most of us are knee deep in them for December. But really …. I’ve been thinking a lot about why family traditions hit so deeply this time of year. It’s not just the nostalgia (though we all know that plays a big part) it’s the way these little moments anchor us. In the middle of the darkest nights, when the world feels quiet and a little paused, traditions become these steady threads we can hold onto. Even the smallest ritual like lighting a candle at dinner, or putting one special ornament on the tree, or watching the same old movie every year ... becomes a kind of heartbeat for the season. These rituals remind us that we’ve been here before, we’ve made it through another year, and we’re still weaving our story!

Tonight is a reminder that traditions are really just love in motion. They are the stories we choose to repeat. The moments we choose to honor. The tiny rituals (whether inherited or brand new) that weave comfort into our lives. So whatever your evening looks like… whether you’re surrounded by family, sharing dinner with friends, or enjoying the quiet magic of your own company… I hope you feel that gentle glow of the season. I hope the warmth reaches you. I hope something in this episode inspires you to cherish an old tradition or begin a brand new one that feels deeply yours.

Today we’re sinking into the heart of Yule itself. Not the facts and the bullet points (you know I’ve done that in past years). This time we’re going sensory, immersive and witchier than ever. We’re going to explore Yule through the body… through the breath… through that slow winter magic that kind of curls around you like a warm blanket. Because Yule isn’t just a sabbat on the calendar. It is a feeling. It’s the hush after the longest night.  It’s the comfort of firelight. It is the sweetness of cinnamon and cloves and pine resin warming in a candle flame. It’s that first tiny spark of returning light after months of shadow work and late-night journaling and trying to keep ourselves grounded in a chaotic season.

But that’s the thing about this season: it never shows up the same way twice. We certainly have our holiday traditions ... we have those things that must happen no matter what. But every December carries its own flavor, its own texture, its own little whisper in the dark. It’s like Yule has this personality that shifts each year ... sometimes bold and fiery, sometimes soft and nostalgic, sometimes a little chaotic ... but it is always magical. So before we wander down this snowy little path together, go ahead and get yourself comfy because this episode is meant to feel like sitting beside me at a winter hearth. A place where the world softens for a moment. This time of year ... this delicious, liminal stretch where the energy gets soft and shimmery (and just a little bit strange) is a doorway where your hand is on the frame. You are not quite inside the room and you are not quite out of it either. Just suspended between chapters. Between versions of yourself. Between everything you’ve learned and everything you’re about to become. It’s a tender place. A potent place. And honestly? I love it. Because this is where the magic of planning really takes root. At the end of the year, our planning and lists become something entirely different. They stop being reminders and suddenly become reflections. Breadcrumbs. A map of the human-and-witch experience we have lived through.

The end of the year doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It can be grounding. It can be magical. And with the right list? It can feel downright simple. And today's episode is going to walk through all of the steps needed in creating a end of year magical plan!

And I want you to remember that you’re not doing any of this alone. I’m right here with you, doing the exact same work. I am pulling out my journals and my planners, scribbling down messy lists, clearing out old energy, choosing my guiding themes, grounding myself when things get overwhelming, and building my own rhythm for 2026 right alongside you. I’m reflecting, releasing, dreaming, and planning too. We are walking this path together, hand in hand across the turning of the year.

Today’s episode is a special one. It’s not just another weekly get-together! This feels like a milestone. Because we’re doing two things: we’re honoring the journey we’ve taken all year long, and we’re stepping into the fierce, powerful, magnetic energy of our final oracle guide for 2025 … the Dragon Spirit!

Today is a reflection moment and a rise-up moment. We get to look back at who we were in January, honor what we walked through, and then… stand up a little taller because of it. This is like that deep breath before the next chapter opens. The kind where you realize ‘Oh wow… I actually grew. I actually changed. I actually did the work.’ We all did the work!

And now, the Dragon Spirit has come for our December guidance. When I say Dragon is big energy, I mean BIG. But not in a scary way. This isn’t some villain boss battle where we’re fighting for our lives. This is more like the final level of a video game where you suddenly realize you have been training for this all year. Every card, every moon phase, every shadow moment has been preparing you. Dragon is the ‘big boss battle' but in the most empowering way. It’s the moment where everything we’ve learned clicks into place, and we get to say, ‘Ohhh… this is who I’ve become.’

And as we walk through each month… I want you to feel something with me. This wasn’t chaos. This wasn’t coincidence. This wasn’t 12 separate little lessons floating around in space. I believe this was a storyline. A spell. A full-blown initiation.  Every spirit that showed up in 2025 was part of a larger arc. Like a staircase, a spiral, a sacred unfolding guiding us from who we were… to who we were becoming. Who we are now.

So settle in, grab a mug, light a candle if you want… because we’re looking back at the path behind us, and we’re stepping boldly into the energy ahead of us. And if there’s one thing I know for sure ... it’s that none of us are the same witches we were in January!

Today we have a special Thanksgiving edition of being thankful … and the sidekick energy of the Cliché of it all this time of year.

We are diving into something that gets tossed around so much it starts losing its meaning: gratitude itself. The cliché of thankfulness.  You know the one ... the forced positivity, the “be grateful because it’s November,” the pressure to list ten things even if your heart isn’t in it. And yet, here we are, sitting in this real, honest gratitude together. The kind that doesn’t feel scripted or polished, the kind that actually matters. Let's go deeper. Let's talk about why gratitude gets so overused, why it feels hollow sometimes, and how we as witches can take this tired old cliché and breathe real magic back into it!

Today we are wandering right into the heart of Crossroads Magic and brushing up against the mysteries of Hecate. And you know how it goes when we get into the good stuff. The path twists, the lanterns glow a little brighter, and suddenly we’re knee-deep in stories, lessons, and those soul-nudging moments that deserve extra time and space. So get comfy ... today's episode does go a little long!

Crossroads are so much more than physical intersections where one path meets another. They are the invisible meeting points of our soul. Where intuition, logic, fear and hope all sit down at the same table and wait for us to decide which direction to move. And that’s why they’ve always been magical. In nearly every tradition across time, crossroads were considered holy (or at least powerful). Places where the veil between worlds thinned, where spirits might linger and where choices carried more weight.

To the ancient Greeks, this very crossroad is where Hecate stood. She “IS” the goddess of thresholds, holding her torches to light the way. But ….. she didn’t tell travelers which road to take; she illuminated the space in-between, so they could choose with awareness. Hecate isn’t the goddess of outcomes. She is the guardian of possibilities. She watches over that delicate place where endings bleed into beginnings, where grief and excitement coexist and where uncertainty hums like a living spell. She doesn’t rush us. She simply waits, with her lantern held high, reminding us that liminal spaces (those “in-between” places) are not to be feared, but honored.

So today, I invite you to walk this one slowly with me.  The road is a bit longer (we go over an hour and a half) but the magic is rich and I’ve saved a spot for you right beside me at the crossroads.  We’re talking today about crossroads magic with Hecate; spells, choices, and that mysterious, powerful space we call in-between.

Episode #161 is a cozy, let’s curl up and just talk type episode.  Shadow work doesn’t have to be scary. It can, in fact ….. be cozy.  Today we’re curling up under the November moon to talk about gentle ways to face what’s been hidden, guided by Hecate’s lantern and the soft wings of the Bat Spirit. We’ll sip tea, light candles, and learn how to release what’s heavy before the year ends. This, my witchy family, is your sign to slow down, breathe, and let the shadows become your teachers.

I know shadow work can sound a little intimidating. It carries that weighty, mysterious vibe doesn't it? It makes people think of deep dives into pain or big emotional reckonings. But today is not about diving off a cliff into the abyss. Today we are taking a lantern (a gentle, steady light) and we’re walking softly into the edges.

We are learning how to do this in a way that feels safe, gentle and real! Something you can do while curled up in your favorite chair, not some heavy ceremony that leaves you drained. This is cozy shadow work. The kind that happens quietly, between sips of tea or coffee …. when you finally exhale and let yourself be.

Today’s episode feels a bit heavier than other ones we have done.  We have some stories of fear, control and survival but also some stories of courage and resistance. Around the world, countless people were persecuted in the name of witchcraft. But through those ashes we find lessons about strength, truth, and reclaiming our power.

The intention for today’s episode is simple but hopefully powerful:  We are here to honor the memory of those who suffered and to transform that pain into empowerment. We’ll talk about what happened…. but more importantly we’ll talk about what we can learn from it. How their stories become lessons in resistance, resilience, and truth.

We are heading back to Europe between the 1400s and 1700s when our world was lit by candlelight and superstition. Where the whisper of a neighbor could destroy a life. The witch trials didn’t just vanish into dusty pages though. They linger in our bones, in our families, in the parts of ourselves that learned quietly, not to be “too much.” Not to speak too loudly. Not to let anyone see the magic. The story of witchcraft didn’t end in Europe or with the trials. It continued in bloodlines, in whispers, in kitchens like mine and yours. And maybe (just maybe) every time we bake bread, pour wine, or whisper a spell under the full moon ... we’re continuing the work they started.

Their persecution might have been rooted in fear, but their spirit .... That was never extinguished.  And I believe that’s the lesson they left for us. To keep going. To keep rising. To keep creating magic out of the ashes. We are here to honor the memory of those who suffered, and to transform that pain into empowerment. We’ll talk about what happened…. but more importantly, we’ll talk about what we can learn from it. How their stories become lessons in resistance, resilience, and truth.

Signs! We have been talking about them off and on all year. What they are, what they can feel like, how to recognize them and then … what to do with the information when you get the download, the direction and all of the amazing emotions wrapped up in all of it.  Last year (literally a year ago) the sign I got was one of those .... slap in the face type messages! Fast forward to June of this year …. And I drew the Spider Spirit Oracle card for our June Patreon workings. In doing the research for it, I was reminded of this download and night of the intense message and sign.

When we pause to truly look at a spider’s web (like really look) we see how every thread is part of something larger. Even the tiniest strand connects to others. If you brush one edge ever so gently, the entire structure trembles. The vibration doesn’t stay where it began; it travels. It ripples outward, reaching every corner.  I think … That’s exactly how the Witch’s Web works. Every spell, every word spoken with intention, every breath of magic ... none of it happens in isolation. What we do here, in our kitchens, on our porches, beneath October’s star-drenched sky, moves through the web. Like a pulse of light, it travels unseen, connecting with threads spun long before us and stretching into futures we can only imagine.

And right now, in October, the web feels even more alive. This is the season of the thinning veil, when the boundaries between our world and the spirit realm soften. It’s when whispers come a little clearer, shadows carry familiar weight, and the unseen web that connects us all shimmers! Ancestors, beloved spirits, land guardians, and witches from ages past are close. The ancestral threads in the web are some of the oldest and strongest threads we have. Every ancestor who stirred a pot, spoke a prayer, planted seeds, healed wounds, whispered their hopes to the night sky spun their magic into the web. Their threads stretch through bloodlines, through chosen families, through spiritual kinships. They are not passive observers on the edges of the web. No, they’re part of the structure itself. They hold us, steady us, and sometimes give the strands a little nudge to remind us they’re still here.

Today you'll hear my journey with the BIG sign and message I got last year, but today isn’t just a story time. It’s a journey. A weaving. And as we gather here just days before Samhain (when the veil is at its thinnest) I believe the air is thick with signs, whispers, and ancestral presence. The web is alive… and it’s waiting for us to listen!

It was a time when the veil between worlds thinned, when communities gathered close for warmth, story, and ritual. And it was a time when spirits were believed to wander just a little closer to our realm.

Grab your favorite fall drink, wrap yourself in something cozy and settle in. Today …. We are heading back in time together. Think crisp autumn nights, bonfires on distant hills and the hum of ancient celebrations drifting through the chill of October!

The cauldron is one of those images that everybody knows the second they see it. That round-bellied pot, maybe bubbling over with something mysterious, maybe just sitting quietly by a hearth… it’s practically the mascot of witches everywhere. But here’s the fun part ... the cauldron isn’t just a spooky Halloween decoration that comes out only in October. It has some pretty deep roots! Whether you’ve got a cast-iron pot hanging over a fire, or just a little brass cauldron on your altar to hold herbs and incense, you are tapping into thousands of years of myth, magic, and everyday survival. When I look at my cauldron, I don’t just see food simmering or herbs burning.  I see a place where endings and beginnings meet. Where something raw goes in and something new comes out.

October practically wraps us in correspondences. It’s not just the cauldron over the fire, it’s the whole season acting like a spell in motion.  While the cauldron is certainly our iconic image, I like to think of October as a whole basket of magical correspondences. The apples, the pumpkins, the spices, the firelight, even the shadows creeping earlier each night. They’re all ingredients in the potion of this month. All we really have to do is notice them, honor them, and maybe weave them into a little magic of our own.

Today we are going to tie our aprons, light a candle (if you’ve got one handy) and talk about how the kitchen... our everyday ordinary kitchen ... is actually one of the most magical spaces we have. Because fall is the season of warm soups, spiced teas, and cozy evenings, and each of those is a perfect place to stir in just a little witchcraft. Your kitchen is more than just a room. It’s a sacred space, the modern hearth, the cauldron of your home. Every time you step into it (whether you’re chopping veggies, baking bread, or just grabbing a snack) you have the chance to bring a little magic into the ordinary. And today we are going to do just that ... together!

For me, fall feels like gratitude woven right into the air. It’s the season of harvest baskets, chunky sweaters, and yes lots and lots of pumpkin-spice-everything moments! But deeper than that, it’s about balance, it’s about letting ourselves be held by the cycles of the Earth. We’ve planted, we’ve tended, we’ve grown and now we gather. Today it’s all about the magic of this season, the symbols, the stories, and of course some practical, everyday ways we can bring Mabon energy into our lives. I can't wait to share it all with you!

As we call The Snake Spirit into our circle today, I want us to think about the serpent in a broad, powerful way. Snake energy overall is about transformation, healing, primal vitality, and of course shadow work. It’s that universal, archetypal serpent ... the one that slithers through myth and medicine, through the soil and the subconscious, reminding us that growth is always a process of shedding and beginning again. That’s where we’ll focus our energy in this episode: Snake in its fullness, the general essence of what this animal spirit brings into our practice! The Snake teaches us about shedding ... about releasing the skins we’ve outgrown and stepping into the raw, new, and powerful versions of ourselves. It reminds us that transformation is not always comfortable, but it is always necessary. The old scales must fall away so the brilliance beneath can shine.  And, oh my goodness …. Just right on track for everything we are going through and doing together and the perfect spirit to follow after all of our crow energy in August!

I want you to imagine that moment when the trail takes a turn and suddenly the view open up. You are standing at a break in the tress, and there before you are endless ridges rolling into the distance, layers of blue and green fading into haze. That sight ... it makes you breathe differently. It slows you down. It roots you in awe. And, in that moment, it is impossible not to feel connected. That is the heartbeat of this episode. That sense of being both humbled and held. Both small and infinite. I want to share with you what the mountains stirred awake in me ... the moments of land connection, of shifting energy, of ancestral presence and of pure mountain magic. At its heart, Lughnasadh is the celebration of the first grain harvest. Think barley, wheat, corn ... everything golden and glowing under the sun right now. It’s that time of year when the fields are full and heavy with the results of long months of effort. Our efforts! The sun has been shining, the rains have come and gone, and now the Earth is ready to give us what we’ve worked for. Lughnasadh honors the labor of the season. The planting, the tending, the showing up again and again (even when it’s hard). It’s a time to pause and recognize and say ... hey, we did something. We made it grow. Whether it’s a physical garden or something more symbolic, this is when we start to see the fruits of our effort. But here's where it gets beautifully bittersweet. Lughnasadh is also a moment of sacrifice. To harvest the grain, we have to cut it down. The grain must die so we can be fed. That’s powerful stuff. It’s not just a celebration ... it’s a recognition of the sacred exchange: life feeding life. This sabbat reminds us that letting go isn’t always a loss. Sometimes it’s the doorway into our next evolution! Let's celebrate Lughnasadh together!

It’s time to celebrate … once again!  Our wheel of the year has turned ever onward … an ongoing ancient spiral of sun and shadow, life and death, sowing and reaping. It is the sacred rhythm of the Earth herself, a great circle marked by eight spokes — eight sabbats — each one a threshold into a different current of energy and magic.
