Relationships: How Homeschooling Revived My Children. "When You Love Someone, You Don't Put Them in a Bad Environment."
In this episode, Timika expands on relationships and includes her journey of examining her children's educational platform, taking her children out of brick-and-mortar, and putting them in a homeschool environment to bring out the best in them in character, gifts, and overall expression.
The brick-and-mortar schools her children were attending provided a lot of discrepancies in what her husband and she taught their children at home. Timika encourages caregivers and parents to hold thoughtful conversations with their children about their school, address issues at the school, and be willing to change if the school environment doesn't align with their family's goals, ambitions, and principles.

Healing from the Inside Out Series #25 : You Deserve Better
In this episode, I use my children' s process of healing to share important concepts on healing from the inside out. Often, we may cling to anxiety, fear, confusion, self-doubt, guilt, resentment, shame, and vengeance. They become the lenses through which we see the world. However, we were not meant to stay stuck or to consistently befriend life-draining emotions and feelings.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Jesus came so that we may have an abundant life (John 10:10) in all realms, not so that we could carry our wounds with us. But to realize that we are bigger than any experience and what our true purpose is---to reflect the truth.

Cultivating the Inner Garden in our Youths
Addressing low self-esteem, confidence, and lack of trust in youths is crucial, but let's keep moving beyond emotions and feelings. Actions stem from thoughts, accepted thoughts stem from adopted beliefs, and accepted beliefs come from our identity.
Who our youths think they are will impact how they live their lives and what they do on Earth. It's essential our youths know that they have a divine mission on earth, receive guidance on how to embrace, nourish, and accept their divine abilities, gifts, and talents and how to navigate life.
One life taken is many.
As spiritual guardians, we must check in with our youth daily, cultivate relationships based on listening and mutual respect, honest and open communication, and remind them of virtues that are already within them. They don't need to seek to belong, for their birth justified their existence. They don't need to overfeed and overwork their bodies out of self-hatred because their body's purpose is to help them do their divine work.
We must help our youths get to the root of their actions and open the discussion of identity. Our earthly commission is to love one another, but if our youths don't love themselves, how can they show love to another? Stories do matter, but let's go a little deeper.
For those who are thinking about children, you have the opportunity to work on yourself first. Do you know who you are? If not, spend time asking the universe. Ask to be guided to your true identity.
If you are pregnant, you have the opportunity to share truths to your unborn.
Something created us, loves us, and has endowed us with its power to help others remember who they are.
As spiritual guardians, we are to train children in how they should live. A significant part of this training, and one that affects all areas of our youth's life, is helping them to understand who they are.
