Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

By Timika S Chambers

Through self-awareness, I help individuals break generational cycles of pain by bringing light to the thoughts and patterns that sustain them. Together, we cultivate our inner soil by identifying and releasing limiting beliefs and replanting truths that support growth and healing. This process nurtures a continual harvest of spiritual fruit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22). We heal from within, restore deeper connection and community, and strengthen values and life-sustaining principles.

Each of us has to decide how we will protect our hearts. I share how one of my mother’s words of wisdom from my book, The Inner Garden, can help us lessen the “weeds”—the persistent negative emotions that can taint our purpose.

Takeaways

1. Storms are an opportunity to gain clarity about our experiences. We can choose to see them from a healthier, more grounded perspective.

2. Persistent negative habits can slowly work against us from the inside out. An inner decline often begins long before anything becomes visible on the outside.

3. Whatever remains in the dark will eventually come to light. We have both the power and the divine right to correct our persistent patterns of thinking and behavior.

It shows the lasting impact of a parent’s words and actions—very powerful and joyful at the same time. I would love this to be an audiobook.”

Heal from the Inside Out Series #38: Vengeance is not a band-aid or cure.

Heal from the Inside Out Series #38: Vengeance is not a band-aid or cure.

My mother told me that I did not have to do anything to anybody. Vengeance can be tempting. It’s easy to think that belittling, demeaning, cursing, and physically hurting someone may heal our wounds; however, vengeful behavior only deepens the wound and can change us into something unbecoming (not our true selves). Whatever we consistently think of, we deposit the seeds within us, and these seeds will eventually produce a harvest.

The discussion encourages listeners to take control of their lives, acknowledge their experiences, and choose healing over resentment.

We have the power to design our lives through our thoughtsand intentions.

Healing begins with acknowledging the truth of ourexperiences.

The Seeds We Plant Series: Relationship with Oneself Part 2

Examination of oneself is something that needs to start at a young age. Yes, it's important that children learn how to associate with others, but it is even more critical for children to "know themselves." Know what they like, don't like, virtues, standards, morals, and the importance of loving oneself--the very things we are doing now for adults after the many storms of cyberbullying and other forms of peer pressure to conform. Belief and confidence in oneself are necessary to achieve goals.

Do you encourage your children to pray, visualize, se time wisely with time management skills? I wonder how many cycles we can break if there were more focus on self-knowledge and love at an earlier age?

Relationships: How Homeschooling Revived My Children. "When You Love Someone, You Don't Put Them in a Bad Environment."

In this episode, Timika expands on relationships and includes her journey of examining her children's educational platform, taking her children out of brick-and-mortar, and putting them in a homeschool environment to bring out the best in them in character, gifts, and overall expression.

The brick-and-mortar schools her children were attending provided a lot of discrepancies in what her husband and she taught their children at home. Timika encourages caregivers and parents to hold thoughtful conversations with their children about their school, address issues at the school, and be willing to change if the school environment doesn't align with their family's goals, ambitions, and principles.

Healing from the Inside Out Series #25 : You Deserve Better

Healing from the Inside Out Series #25 : You Deserve Better

In this episode, I use my children' s process of healing to share important concepts on healing from the inside out. Often, we may cling to anxiety, fear, confusion, self-doubt, guilt, resentment, shame, and vengeance. They become the lenses through which we see the world. However, we were not meant to stay stuck or to consistently befriend life-draining emotions and feelings.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).

Jesus came so that we may have an abundant life (John 10:10) in all realms, not so that we could carry our wounds with us. But to realize that we are bigger than any experience and what our true purpose is---to reflect the truth.

Cultivating the Inner Garden in our Youths

Cultivating the Inner Garden in our Youths

Addressing low self-esteem, confidence, and lack of trust in youths is crucial, but let's keep moving beyond emotions and feelings. Actions stem from thoughts, accepted thoughts stem from adopted beliefs, and accepted beliefs come from our identity.

Who our youths think they are will impact how they live their lives and what they do on Earth. It's essential our youths know that they have a divine mission on earth, receive guidance on how to embrace, nourish, and accept their divine abilities, gifts, and talents and how to navigate life.

One life taken is many.

As spiritual guardians, we must check in with our youth daily, cultivate relationships based on listening and mutual respect, honest and open communication, and remind them of virtues that are already within them. They don't need to seek to belong, for their birth justified their existence. They don't need to overfeed and overwork their bodies out of self-hatred because their body's purpose is to help them do their divine work.

We must help our youths get to the root of their actions and open the discussion of identity. Our earthly commission is to love one another, but if our youths don't love themselves, how can they show love to another? Stories do matter, but let's go a little deeper.

For those who are thinking about children, you have the opportunity to work on yourself first. Do you know who you are? If not, spend time asking the universe. Ask to be guided to your true identity.

If you are pregnant, you have the opportunity to share truths to your unborn.

Something created us, loves us, and has endowed us with its power to help others remember who they are.

As spiritual guardians, we are to train children in how they should live. A significant part of this training, and one that affects all areas of our youth's life, is helping them to understand who they are.

As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!
