As the former director of education and training at My Sister's House, a tri-county service agency for individuals who have experienced abuse in their relationships, Sydney honed her expertise in addressing domestic violence and its impact on individuals and communities. In her current role as the assistant director of student engagement with the Honors College at the College of Charleston, she leads comprehensive courses on civic engagement and social justice, empowering students to become catalysts for change.
