We swash our buckles and head into Sherwood forest to kick off "Round Robin" Month. We decide to draw our bows and take aim at "The Adventures of Robin Hood" from 1938. We continue our look at post-civil war film with on you probably have not heard about. "Seraphim Falls" from 2006 starring Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson. Find out why the crew think you should seek this film out. We talk about how it is a prime example of "show don't tell" story telling, the large number of character actors, and the left turn ending. Never let it be said the Spoiler Room Crew are afraid to talk about a film. We take on the Disney film that turns eighty this year. Thirty of those years, Disney has buried the film. Should it be buried, have those who have cancelled it ever watched it, and is it a good film, even though its a controversial film? We tackle these questions and more. Mark even read a book for the episode so you definitely want to tune in.

We kick off a month featuring movies that take place during American reconstruction. Our first movie of the month is "Sommersby" 1993. We discuss if it is realistic for a man to convince a whole town and his wife that he is someone else, the talented cast, and the importance of a good script. Find how we feel about this period drama mystery film.

We close out the month with a discussion of this classic. Don Shanahan of the "Cinephile Hissy Fit" and "Film Obsessive" is back with the crew for a great time. We talk about the great animation, adorable characters, Pixar at its peak, and how sometimes you should not look too far below the surface of a film sometimes. It is yet another Disney animated film that is not discussed enough. Maybe it was the timing of when it came out, maybe it is something Disney didn't have confidence in. The Crew explore all of these possibilities as well as deep dive into the voice acting, the animation, and how similar yet better it is than Titan A.E. I am confident you will enjoy this discussion.

The Spoiler Room Crew grab a treasure map and navigate the high celestial seas as they discuss the 2002 Disney film "Treasure Planet". We wonder why this film seemed to fall by the Disney wayside, how it may have lead to Pirates of the Caribbean, and how great the animation is.

They sit down and discuss this animated film that seemed to borrow from so many other movies. While discussing it, though, The Crew talk about what filmmakers may have borrowed from it. The Crew continue to look at dark fantasy films this month. On this episode we discuss another Ridley Scott film that has many versions only this one is a fantasy film. Join us as we talk about which version of "Legend" from 1985 is the better version. We also discuss Tom Cruise in a role he rarely plays, how good the practical effects are, the difference a soundtrack makes and try to work out which role Robert Picardo plays.

We kick off a new year, a new season, and a new month with our discussion on the 1981 fantasy film "Dragonslayer". We talk about the reason the film looks so damn good, especially the dragon, and how the wonderful production design deserved a better script. We also discuss how it may have influenced the fantasy films that followed as well as its behind the scenes connection to Empire Strikes Back.

Mike Viers returns to the Spoiler Room to discuss this 1991 action thriller called "Toy Soldiers" starring Sean Astin, Wil Wheaton, and Louis Gossett Jr. Find out who enjoys it, who hated it and just how violent it is. Join us for a fun spirited discussion in our last episode of 2025.

Tis the season for buying and selling. What better movie to talk about before the holiday than a movie about a car sales man who has a dog day afternoon, or as Ian says "Dodge Day Afternoon". We head into the last month of the season with "Captive Audience" Month, where we look at movies dealing with a person taking a group of people hostage. This week it is a dramatic thriller starring Denzel Washington and many other familiar performers. We decided to head into the world of 80s rock'n roll with a look a look at the overlooked musical "Rock of Ages". The Spoiler Room Crew discuss just how funny the film is, it's wonderful use of rock hits and some of the things we wish were done different. Did we find a rock musical that the entire crew enjoyed? Tune in and rock on!

This is the roughest film this month the crew has tackled. You would think a film using music from arguably one of the , if not THE greatest rock bands of all time would be a slam dunk. Well this one is not even a free throw. The Crew cuss and discuss this musical that most of the members did not enjoy at all. Tune into a riot of a discussion.

We see it, hear it, touch it, but not sure we can heal the opinion of this movie among the Crew. Join us for our penultimate "Over the Hill" special where we look at the rock opera "Tommy" from 1975. We try to dissect this one and understand it. We also discuss how many of the music sequences seemed to serve as a template for MTV.

We get out our electric guitar and surreal imagery to kick off "Rock'n World" Month where we are looking at musicals involving a rock band (s). The Crew have a spirited debate over the classic movie "Pink Floyd's The Wall". We talk the visual artistry, the fascist imagery, and just the meaning of it all.

We close out our "Totally Committed" month with a look at a very dark "sequel" to the Wizard of Oz. It has robots, puppets, stop motion animation, but does it have a purpose for existing? Is this really a kids movie? Would you consider it a horror film? Celeste returns to join in the discussion. Find out what we think of "Return to Oz".

We are down to three "Over the Hill" Special episodes. We commit ourselves to talking about this classic film celebrating its 50th anniversary and starring many familiar faces including Jack Nicholson. We talk about how different the film was from the book and debate if Nurse Ratched is actually as evil as everyone has said she is. All that and more is discussed.

We getting crazy with "Totally Committed" month where we look at four films that have the main character in a mental health facility. First up is a look at John Carpenter's last feature film "The Ward". Is this a actual bad film? The crew debate the good and not so good of this horror thriller.

We close out our month of looking at films starring David Carradine with a wild crazy post apocalyptic film from the legendary Fred Olen Ray. We head into the desert to discuss the surprises of this film, the charm of Ray's movies and just how much can be done with very little. Check it out.

We continue looking at films with David Carradine with this creature feature from cult film maker Larry Cohen. The Crew discuss the multiple story lines, the performance of Michael Moriarty and David Carradine. This film has so much going on that it may be too much. Fly with us was we look at this odd early 80s action horror.

We catch up with Documentarian Bob Lindenmayer and legendary actor Barry Bostwick to talk about their new documentary , #MakingMegaforce.

We are heading into the final turn of our "Over the Hill" Special series. We put the pedal to the metal and try to hit as many points as possible with this classic dystopian action film starring David Carradine, Sylvester Stallone and more. Join us as we take on "Death Race 2000". We discuss the influences of Roger Corman on the film and the influences this film had on dystopian films that followed it.

We kicked off "Carradine Carnage" month with a very early Martin Scorsese film starring David Carradine and Barbara Hershey. We discuss how this is considered Scorsese's first major feature and how his style was evident even then. We also talk bout its short comings, its potential and the Corman Factor.

We grab our roller skates and ride through the apocalypse in the first film for our "Skate or Die" month. This one was rough one for the crew. Scott Davis returns to help try to understand the sci-fi salad of a story of "Solarbabies." The Crew have an on air epiphany while discussing it.

The Crew take on the fourth and final film in the Jaws franchise. We discuss the editing, the fact it ignores the other two films and of course the telepathy. We end "All Legs Month" with a more "modern" creature feature. It is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, it stars a lot of familiar faces, and is full of practical F/X, but does it still hold up? The Spoiler Room crew get caught in a web made by those who would later make "Jurassic Park". We get over our fear and talk "Arachnophobia".

The Crew visit the "Kingdom of the Spiders" starring William Shatner. It may surprise you who enjoyed the film, who didn't and those who were mixed on it. The conversation gets VERY spirited but it is all in fun. Join us as things get sticky.
