We have talked in the past about the Joule and Copilot integration and what overwhelming interest we are hearing from customers. Our regular viewers might have wondered what we are doing with the Joule integration at Microsoft and you might remember, that -- while we have lots of SaaS and also S/4HANA systems running RISE on Azure at Microsoft -- we also have a really important ECC System. We are already working on moving it to S/4HANA, but this will take some time. So our Supply Chain Team explored what they can do to still enable a Copilot interaction with the SAP System and invented Stratus AI. When customers move their SAP systems to Azure, Microsoft is working closely with customers and their partners on the migration. We do not have our own team that actually does the migrations, but as we have highlighted several times on the show, we have dedicated teams that ensure an SAP on Azure Missions critical support. I love playing Adventure games. When I was younger, I was playing games from SierraOnline or LucasArts. One of my favorites was (and actually is) Days of the Tentacle. However, the game that probably started it all was Zork, a text-based adventure game. In one of the first interactions in this game it says "ZORK is a game of adventure, danger, and low cunning ... No Computer should be without one" So very recently I leared that you can actually play Zork in the SAP GUI. It's getting even better because our guest today, Alice, has developed it using vibe coding. So to learn more about the game, how vibe coding helped and how it found its way to ABAP, I am glad to have Alice back with us today.

In episode 276 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about RPT-1. On of the new foundational models from SAP.
One of the highlights at SAP TechEd last year was the announcement of two foundational new models, among them the RPT-1 or Rapid One. For me this was quite interesting, because SAP not only announce the model, but immediately made it available for testing on BTP and HuggingFace. Our amazing colleauge Amit Lal immediately jumped on it and explored the functionality. Today I am happy to have him with us again to talk about his experience with RPT-1.

We were always supporting the largets environment and today we want to talk about a new recent S/4HANA scale-out environment with 24 TB VMs. This whole projects shows how the growth even of complex HANA architectures, from 3 TB to 6TH, 12 TB, 24 TB or even 32 TB is something that we support on Azure. In episode 269 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about the Model Context Protocol being used on the SAP Business Technology Platform.
A few months ago we had my colleauge Alice on the show who introduced a tool that would allow you to convert an OData service in an MCP, a Model Context Protocol, server. Since then we had many more talks and we could see a lot of projects popping up that used this idea to create new MCP servers. The benefit are obvious: OData and MCP are a match made in heaven. What is often described has a shortcoming of OData -- its chattyness and too much information -- is a huge benefit in MCP, where you need a good description of the various tools.
One other project that caught not only mine, but the attention of the whole SAP community is the OData MCP bridge on BTP, the SAP Business Technology Platform. To share us more about this project, the AI Data Enabler, I am happy to have Wouter, Tom and Marian with us today. Welcome to our show.

In episode 261 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we have another News update.
A few weeks back we had a News-only episode where we just looked at what had happened in the SAP and Microsoft space in recent weeks without focusing on any specfic topic. We actually got quite some positive feedback, so we decided to do this more often. It will be a shorter episode, but I think this is good with everyone. Of course, we will also continue to do our deep dives on specific topics.

In episode 250 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about ABAP Vibe Coding!Vibe coding is a very hot topic at the moment. I myself have explored a few things and the results using Claude or GitHub Copilot are atcually pretty impressive. When doing this with ABAP, the results are only so-so. From timt to time the LLM suggests function modules or data objects that actually do not exist in the SAP system. This can be quite frustrating. So wouldn't it be great if there was a way to ground the LLM on the data objects that are actually available in MY SAP system? Well, I am glad to have Alice Vinogradova back with us to give us some sneek peak at what can happen if you combine the OData MCP Bridge, a custom OData service which exposes classes, interaces and functions and GitHub Copilot.

In episode 248 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about the Model Context Protocol and how to use it with SAP. Two weeks back Alice released the MCP Bridge on GitHub which basically enables you to expose any OData service as an MCP Server. I was lucky to be a very early tester of this MCP Bridge and I was blown away by the result. I had just picked a few random OData services and it all worked. Then I looked for commonly used SAP business OData service from the API Buinsess Hub -- and they also worked. Even more -- I was not only able to read information from my SAP system, but also writing back information was possible. So to take a closer look a the MCP Bridge I am really glad to have Alice Vinogradova with us today.

SAP Threat Monitoring tools like SAP Enterprise Threat Detection enable real-time monitoring of security events in SAP systems. On the Microsoft side we catch track and catch a lot of security events using Microsoft Sentinel. Luckily there ia a native integration of ETD with Sentinel.
