Master Bath Expansion
At first this couple considered moving but after months of looking they could not find another home in a neighborhood they liked for cost that made sense. A master bath expansion was the better choice for them.
This phase of the project included 3 parts: a master bath expansion, a partial renovation of the upstairs hall bathroom and all new flooring upstairs, include new stair treads.

Family Kitchen Renovation in Buck Lake
family kitchen renovation that was the start of family compound. This couple bought 5 acres with an older home and some outbuildings on it with the plan of remodeling the main house then building two more homes for their parents and siblings.

Walk in Closet and Primary Bath Remodel
This primary bath is in a gorgeous home on 5 acres in the Mill Branch area of Tallahassee. The couple have a strong sense of their style and chose a beautiful granite counter early in the process. The dramatic granite needed to be a focal point so the rest of the bath's color scheme revolved around it.
The free standing tub was another natural focal point and we added oak beams to the ceiling to help draw the eye up into the space.
We had to remove several walls in order to fit a large walkin shower, toilet room and expand the closet. They wanted to keep the original wood flooring and we were able to match it perfectly where patches were needed.
A coffee station is a little bit of an unusual feature to have in a bathroom but this bath also opens up on to his home office so it made a lot of sense here.

1936 Kitchen Update, Bath Update and Re-Pipe
This kitchen update is in the forever home of a wonderful couple in Havana getting ready for their retirement years. They had made a number of improvements to the house already and were now ready to tackle the kitchen and master bath. As part of the project they also wanted to re-pipe the whole house.
We considered re-wiring the house as well but it just wasn't in the budget. Instead we added a sub panel so we could update the kitchen wiring and still stay code compliant.

Chef's Kitchen Remodel: Luxury Materials & Design
A beautiful home in Myers Park with a kitchen that was long overdue for an upgrade. The husband loves to cook but was limited by the lack of counterspace and odd cooktop layout.
Inially we were planning a more modest update but in design the decided to “go all out” and get the luxury finishes and pro-grade appliances they had always wanted.
They made some amazing choices and the end result is is a very attactive kitchen with a lot of high performace features.

Master Bath Remodel on a Budget
This couple wanted to update their master bath on a budget. During the initial consult process I was worried that they were budgeting too conservatively and would wind up regretting that in design. They really wanted us to do the project and said they'd be OK if the budget increased but wanted to try their best to stick to it. To my surprise they did!

Fish Scale Tile Bathroom Remodel: A Case Study
This case study from McManus Kitchen & Bath details a four-week bathroom remodel in Tallahassee, Florida. The project transformed a dated, cramped bathroom into a bright, modern space featuring fish-scale tiles, a new shower, and increased storage. Despite minor setbacks with plumbing and sink installation, the project was completed on time and budget, exceeding client expectations.

Basement Remodel on Lakeshore Drive
This basement project was the first step in a whole home remodel.
We updated the basement first so they would have a kitchen, bath and place for the kids to hangout during the complete remodel of the upstairs.

Lakeshore Whole Home Remodel
Lakeshore whole home remodel for a young family with two kids.
A beautiful ‘forever’ home with a great view of the lake was in need of an update and some layout changes. We remodeled the walkout basement first as a separate project.
Then we remodeled the upstairs, which included 3 bathrooms, the kitchen and the laundry room/butler’s pantry.

Primary Suite Remodel Near Lake Jackson
We updated the primary suite which included the bath and walk in closet. We also updated the guest bath in this beautiful home on Lake Jackson. Later this year we will be updating upstairs bath as well.
The layout for the primary suite was pretty good, we made some small adjustments. The main reason for the remodel was to improve the storage in the closet and update the look of the two bathrooms.

Rose Hill Primary Bath and Closet
Summary:
The layout for this large master bath was pretty good so we did not make many changes. We did make the shower larger and add double showerheads and body sprays. The main change came in the closet.
Before the remodel they had two mid-size closets. We removed the wall between them and took a little bit of space from the vanity area in order to create 1 large walk in closet with an island.
The bath has a rustic mountain feel with copper finishes, rustic hickory cabinets and natural stone tile.

Creating an Open Kitchen and Laundry-Waverly Hills
This home built in 1981 had a typical galley kitchen and the washer dryer were in the garage. The couple liked to entertain so having the kitchen closed off from the living and dining area was not ideal. They also really wanted to get the washer and dryer out of the garage.
We were able to remove some walls (one was load bearing so required a large beam) and create a nice open kitchen and laundry room. We kept the sink and range on one wall for efficient cooking and that left the large island free for storage and as a central place for guests to gather around.

Removing A Wall To Open Up A Hall Bath- Lake Carolyn
A new homeowner wanted to update both baths and the kitchen in her forever home as she prepares for retirement. We started with the hall bath, the master and kitchen are coming next year.
Removing a wall separating the vanity and the toilet/shower area and moving the toilet allowed us to install a larger shower and created a better flow for the bathroom.

Royal Oaks Neighborhood- Screen Porch Conversion
This was our third project for this client. It was a fun project to tackle, though simple in scope. She had just had her pool deck redone and a pergola build but could not really enjoy being outside with her grandkids due to the heat. So she wanted screen porch coversion to air conditioned space.
The final project cost exceeded our intial budget by quite a bit but the decisions that drove the increase were quite worthwhile given the customers goals.
The focal point of the space is the large window opening that opens up to the pool. We used a bank of folding sliding windows so the space could be completely opened and added countertops to both sides so people could sit and chat through the window.

Betton Woods Kitchen Remodel
A kitchen remodel in Betton woods with some significant layout changes, including moving some windows and adding some walls.
During the initial design and budget consult we decided that adding an island would be costly since it would require moving windows and cutting the slab.
During design however the decided that they really liked the island concept and the extra cost of moving windows was worth it. We also decided to close off the entrance from the garage to create a small mudroom and provide some privacy for the bathroom right off the kitchen. We also updated the bathroom.
