He has obtained two master’s degrees: a master’s degree in the Science of Management from Southern Nazarene University, and Eric graduated, with honors, from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University with a Master of Divinity Degree where he was also certified in Church Administration. On May 13, 2017, Eric received his Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, his research focused on: Deconstructing Eurocentric Pedagogies in Middle-Class Black Youth. Additionally, Dr. Eric Gill is certified in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Management from Cornell University. A lover of community and basketball, Dr Gill, is also the Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at the historic Booker T. Washington High School, in Tulsa, OK. Dr. Gill is a licensed and ordained Baptist Minister. In addition, Rev. Dr. Eric Gill has taught and lectured across the country.

Dr. Eric J. Gill is a member of the Oklahoma City Council of Church’s IMPACT Committee, a part of the Leadership Tulsa 64 cohort, the Faith Coalition for the Commutation of Julius Jones; and he is the proud Chaplain of the Alpha Tau Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated Dr. Gill has been married to the beautiful, Kendra L. Gill. The two of them have an energetic five-year-old boy, Emyr Jason Gill. And on July 7, 2021, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Emani Jade. Eric’s goal is to serve & love God’s people.

This is one powerful story about connectivity, the visa lottery of having family in both America and Ghana. Listen to how his family came together to help take the burden off of his mother as she gets her education and then he discovers his real mother was in the USA at the time. He talks about how he is able to overcome unforgiveness to meet and understand his own father. 

He then learns about interpersonal communication and how it changes his life. "Interviewing his parents!" Listen in on this amazing set of stories and how it has helped him as a father now in the 2000s post-pandemic. He discovered that he was a "Jr." all from an assignment in college. 

So excited to hear from Shawn about his amazing relationship with his Father and how he is able to help other 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation-family business transition their business to the next-gen and keep it going strong like a "Living Legacy". He was one of our board members until he got close to losing his father who ultimately passed. Listen to his journey as he tells us about the impact of an amazing father on his life.

Judo-Steve tells of growing up with his father in his life after his Mother ran out and as his father was trying to get custody he had to stay with his Grandmother. He tells us of his unique experience of finding out that his mother is a lesbian, and how it has opened his mind to how hate and anger of people just don't make sense. 

He talks about being a father of 6 and how he is able to pull that off and still invest in others.

Isaac tells us so much about how he grew up without his father and how we were able to build that relationship over the phone as he engages with him they are able to grow together. 

Ket is an Author and has worked in various areas with youth and homeschooling teachers, Sam is the co-founder of Project Experience. They tell us of their amazing journey of meeting their fathers for the first time and how building or not building a relationship with their fathers was. Then we talk about how Sam and Ket make it happen as a family today. Then they make it a priority to put family 1st. 

The Strong Tomorrows program provides guidance, support, and information for expectant and parenting students at Tulsa Public Schools. Our program incorporates a dual-generational approach by providing case management services and partnering with high-quality childcare programs like Educare and Community Action Project to support parenting students in staying on track to graduate.

Josh talks about being a small business owner, the impact of grandparents living 4 states away, and what it's like having four young kiddos and running a business. 

Larry is an actual fixture in the neighborhood and the community from coaching Basketball, and sports leagues at Tulsa Dream Center and being the program implementer at 100 Black Men. Larry talks about suffering from the pain of having 2 abortions in his relationships, a Felony and losing his wife of 25+ yrs. 

Dr. Ken is the founder of "Fatherhood.com" also the "National Center for Fathering" and he has blessed us here at Birthright Living Legacy by being the keynote speaker at our Fatherhood Summit on Oct. 14th. This summit is an all-out push for Fathers to know about all of the tools and resources that the State of Oklahoma and Birthright Living Legacy have to offer. Listen in as we talk about his journey in fatherhood. 

A father who has children with special needs. This was one of the most emotional interviews that we've done just yet due to all of the things that I learned about how my actions as a passerby have affected the parents and the children who are struggling with developmental needs. Listen as we talk with a father who tells us the devastating facts about how must fathers abandon those children by the age of 8 because they don't get rest or a break, and why he and his wife started Wills house to help to give respite to those parents. 

Talks about being a daughter of an amazing Dad that was there for her and willing to connect with her and her siblings. She talks about watching her brother be a father and how her family never pawned them off on other people. She had her parents a part of her life for he whole life. 

There were times when he Dad was able to come in and help her with all of the tough situations in life. 

Talk about a sharp-dressed man! Listen in as one of the most talented and well-connected men I've ever met talks about the intentionality of being a father while being successful. As an actor, model, voice actor, drummer, and father of two, Billy Ray talks about how he makes sure that he takes the time to listen to his children and grandchildren, builds forts and so so much more. I can't wait to hear all of the comments from this amazing episode.

A father from Nigeria tells us how great it was to be with a father all about his business and how his brothers had to band together and help to create the man we know today. As he made his way to the states and began to live his own life he meet some fathers who changed his perspective about what a father looks like. 

Now he tells us of his journey of fatherhood after 14 yrs and fathering in a new way against his own upbringing and how he is able to thrive in his family. 

This is a Father who is present in the community and making a way for those who didn't have a chance to have a father. He tells us how he was able to balance his community home life and make sure to not forget about priorities. Ramal has put it all on the line to make sure that we have our freedoms in America as a veteran in the army. His story is so riveting. Join us and support his work with "Food on the Move!"

As he has become an international sensation starting at such a young age, he takes us on a journey of being a son of a Dad that supported him and his brothers in making a career in music. He tells as he was taught hard work and how when he became a father himself he had to fathers from back stage and when we was not on tour and how he and his wife managed to co-parent together to raise their children in such a once in a lifetime climate of a performer.  

Kenny Osorio was a champ, he was telling us about how he was able to be a father, however, I didn't realize that our mics were not plugged in all the way so you will have to adjust your mic's a few and we will have to do this one again he was an amazing sport. We had to walk to Sonic due to being locked out. However, he was a great sport and was able to share how he was able to impact his children, and even though he was given up by his mother he didn't ever lose focus on what his goals were to be a father and a husband. 

Owner of Mindset Behavioral Health, she comes and tells us about her journey with her fathers and some decisions that landed her with a habit and later on in prison. She tells us how through love and therapy she was able to overcome and impact others in her community. Her story is so amazing and she gives parents a warning on how to make sure to look out for some dangerous drugs that are out there right now.  

Johnny Buschardt is a local Dad hero. He and his ex-wife and current fiancé show parents what it looks like a child's needs first and co-parent with love for the child and respect for each other. This story deeply moved me to want to be a better co-parent and work on ways to support our child instead of doing the toxic ex thing. 

Kyle tells us of how he was able to grow up without his mother and then be able to live with his father as he learns some very profound things. He like most kids his age played baseball and learned some very life-changing news. He tells us about how his leadership then turned into a dark place and what got him out of it as he Unleashes his inner champ!

Kurtis is telling the story of Fatherhood from the perspective of his father and him to his children. He takes us on the journey of doing all that he can to keep his family together and making sure that his children know that no matter what Mom being in a good place and Dad being in a good place is whats best for you as children and he will do whatever it takes to make that a priority. 

This was an amazing podcast that had some great surprises and wise advice to see how we were are able to see the positive in any situation. Chris has his son is live in the studio as he talks about his upbringing. Listen in as we talk about him choosing a way to learn from his opportunities and how it able to set him straight as a father and a business owner. 

The Chairman of the board, Jeromie, tells us about his childhood going from 1 or 8 and making things happen for him and all of his siblings. His father's foundation was able to sustain after his passing—Listen in how he connects people to causes, people to people, and leaders to resources. 

He shows us how authentic leadership is utilized in business and fatherhood. 

Tim tells us how much quality intentional time has more to do with raising your children than just time. Finding out what is important to them and how you can spend your time with them doing those things helps boost their confidence and levels of glory. Tim tells us of his "Success Goal."
