Which one captured "America" better for you?

I interviewed a great guest tonight, but I decided not to post the video because I don’t want “all that smoke” with the powerful nation that he is directly accusing of genocide and trying to split from as a foreign minister (and previously the prime minister) of a government in exile.

Instead, I did a 30-minute solo episode in which I talked about our conversation without getting specific.

Does that make me a coward?

I'll be honest with you. I didn't do any preparation for this interview. I don't generally do much preparation, but this time I didn't have any idea what this conversation was going to be about. I suppose I knew that Mr. Angle hosts a podcast called The Philosophical Angle. I knew that because he emailed me a few weeks ago to say he enjoyed the conversation I had with my friend Brent Freeman recently, and pitch himself as a guest. I've been happily pumping out podcasts lately, and I shamefully didn't take any time, even a moment, in advance of this conversation to consider what we might discuss. It must be my lucky day, because we had what I think is one of the most productive conversations I've had in 5 years of podcasting. When I say productive, I mean in terms of helping me find and refine (we're basically at the "refine" stage at this point) my political identity. I had no idea he just wrote a book called, "The Nature of the Political Left & Right." This was so on point for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

In this episode, I share some observations about the first few lectures in a psychology course I'm taking, and cover some other news stories along the way.

I was pleased to host multiple Emmy-award winning investigative journalist Chris Papst last night. He’s the author of "Failure Factory: How Baltimore City Public Schools Deprive Taxpayers and Students of a Future.” It was a terrific conversation. You can probably imagine what we talked about. I hope you find it as interesting as I did. I hope the people of Baltimore demand change soon!

Brent is the host of the Aiming Up Podcast.

With a Ph.D. in Philosophy and dual master's degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies, he has authored numerous influential works, including The Twelve Arguments and God and the Declaration of Independence.

We had a great conversation this morning about our experiences with toxic leftist ideologies in academia, some contentious legal and intellectual battles he's fighting, and several current events, including the capture of Nicolas Maduro.

Jon Stewart (not the comedian/political commentator) has had an interesting life.

He's been a professional wrestler, politician, and businessman, as well as a highly-respected independent investigator in the UFO/UAP community, specializing in the 1997 Alien Interview case.

He joined me today for a fascinating conversation about what he's learned throughout his career about the potential presence of higher-order non-human intelligent life on Earth.

It was as wild, deep, scary, intriguing, and sobering as you might expect it to be.

When I started my podcast "Searching for Political Identity" in 2021, I committed to hosting people from diverse backgrounds. I may have rebranded to The Brian Eskow Show after becoming a Trump supporter, but my goals are still the same: learn more about the world, become a better person, and make a positive impact.I say all that because you might find it odd that I hosted a Satanist today. All I can tell you is that it was a lovely conversation about philosophy, religion, politics, aliens, and psychology. I hope you find listening to it to be worthwhile.

In the latest episode of my podcast, I laid out the various theories of what UAPs are, many of which involve various definitions of the ominous term "non-human intelligence" that we've all been hearing about so much lately, recalled a terrifying nightmare I had two weeks ago, and briefly reviewed the Louis C.K. show I was privileged enough to attend on Wednesday night. I wish I had remembered to "name names" in terms of who represents what theories in the current discourse, particularly with respect to the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis. I also wish I had made it clearer that at least one sitting Congressman thinks we have "alien" bases underground and in oceans. That said, I think I did a good job overall discussing the options. It's cliché to post a podcast episode and say, "I'd love to know what you think," but in this case, I would genuinely love to know which theory you think is correct. Sorry it was such a long episode. I'm a bit of a talker.

Lisa Ekman is the author of "Deprogramming Democrats & Uneducating the Elites: How I Escaped the Progressive Cult." I was happy to learn her story and get her opinion of the current political environment. That's pretty much what I do with every guest!I am so grateful that she joined me. As I think you'll glean from the conversation, Lisa and I aren't particularly partisan, we just value truth.

He's the author of the riveting book, “Dethrone Davos: Save America.” It was my pleasure to host him for a conversation about traditional American culture, globalism, and the ideologies behind them. Some people are afraid to go deep on what’s ailing America. Teddy isn’t one of them. You may not agree with him, but I don't think you'll question his sincerity or integrity.

Jason Smith has been living in China for the last decade. He was kind enough to join me today to talk about Chinese culture, how America is perceived in China, and what, if anything, America can learn from China. We covered a wide range of topics. I hope you found the conversation as interesting as I did.

Just thought I'd do a quick review of who I am and what I'm doing.

Micah Erfan is one of the most intelligent, active, and well-respected young Democrats in politics. I had a good time getting to know him a bit and being grilled by him about virtually every issue under the sun. I conceded some points to him, but also did a lot of defending. Just because I'm a Trump supporter now doesn't mean I'm done talking to people from diverse backgrounds. If you're only talking to people who agree with you on everything, what's the point? I hope you enjoy our conversation as much as I did.

Attorney and author Dennis Brennan joined me today to explore the unexpected parallels between Donald Trump and Aaron Burr. It turned out to be a perfect conversation to have on “No Kings” day. His latest book, “D.C. Swamp Strikes Back: Aaron Burr, Donald Trump and Their Similar Battles: Victims Separated by Centuries: Bound by Opponents' Hatred” sounds like a great read.

Reflections on a nice call I got this morning, and a little more.

I've spent the last year or two blasting critical race theory. Now, unfortunately, the woke right is on the rise. It’s a little frightening, to be honest. Given that Nick has made two big podcast appearances recently, it seemed like the right time to discuss the controversial ideas he articulates so well. I hope you think I was fair and appropriate. All I want to do is play a small role in healing our country from these corrosive ideologies.

Just because I'm leaning right lately doesn't mean I'm done talking with Democrats. No one wins when we stop talking to people we don't agree with 100%. In that spirit, I hope you enjoy the latest episode of my podcast. My guest was a Democrat, but he is definitely reasonable, intelligent, and talented. It was great to get to know him a little and chop it up, albeit briefly, about important current events. Who knows, maybe he’ll be the next governor of California.

After four years of hosting Searching for Political Identity, I've launched a new podcast. Yeah, it’s got my name in it. Real original, I know. The thing is, I discovered that I agree with many MAGA policies, and I no longer feel the need to be shy about it. That said, I’m still getting my bearings as a first-time Republican voter. I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time thinking about anything else except the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I'm really disturbed and distracted. Nonetheless, my dear friend from X Scott Bell, who used to regularly join me as a guest on Searching for Political Identity, joined me on Thursday night for the first time on The Brian Eskow Show. It was a pretty fascinating conversation about the economic undercurrents that dictate geopolitics. Let's just say it helped me view Trump, MAGA, Putin, and Europe in a whole new light. Of course, I don't know for sure if Scott's theory is correct, but there's no doubt that he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. I hope you enjoy the conversation, and that it takes your mind off the horrors of September 10th for a few minutes.
