In this episode I will discuss Time Blindless and how it relates to ADHD/ADD.

Check in for season 6
I just wanted to drop in after a hiatus for two weeks.
Long story short, I got covid, took a 14 hour road trip and now I'm back.
Here is a recap for what's upcoming in season six.

A day in the life with ADHD + (Morning Routine)
There are so man things that go into starting ones day and that is for those of us who do not have time blindness and ADD/ADHD.
I always find it easiest to prepare myself for the day in a way that eliminates stress and opportunities for distraction. This can be from the mushroom coffee and taurine I take in the morning for focus to dressing as if I were going to the office even though I work from home.
Preparation and persistence is the success to success.

Wrap up to season 5.

ADHD, stress management, and college.
I want to talk about something that is near and dear to me and that is how ADHD impacts my schoolwork. No this is not an episode about distraction or paying attention.
In this episode, I will discuss how my challenges with reading quickly have impacted my ability to turn in assignments on time. I know some listeners are saying okay, then turn it in. For many, this will always be the logical decision but for some of us, it will not. Instead, we allow the anxiety and the stress of receiving a bad grade or negative feedback to interfere with us turning in our arduous work. How many of you have been there? Well, if this sounds like you, let me offer you motivation and words of wisdom to respond to these feelings as I have experienced from time to time. Thankfully, that is less of a reaction these days.
Please respond to the poll and question so I can give you a more immersive experience. Thank You

What I have realized about my emotional regulation and Utilizing school resources.
Do you fear looking ignorant when asking questions?
Are you just getting by in school?
Do you give up when you don't understand?
These are all questions people ask themselves and even more so when they are in school and have ADHD.
There are many challenges to navigate through before you even take your first class. From the enrollment process and academic advisors to purchasing materials for class.
Then it happens your first semester begins and you are already behind, frustrated, and stressed out.
I was a D+ student in Highschool and now receive A's and B's because I have learned to give myself credit where it is due and TAKE ADVANTAGE of my resources. HERE'S HOW YOU CAN TOO.
Sit with me while I will reflect on my challenges, emotional regulation, and awareness. We will end our discussion with the crucial subject of utilizing your school resources.

New Format
I'll be discussing my updated format as well as some daily encouragement.

!!!!!!Hyperactivity!!!!!

Starting your day with success.

Another short motivation for you all.

Understanding Self Awareness and Regulation and how this impacts your ADHD.
It is one thing to say "I'm pissed" or "I'm just feeling really down". It's another thing to reflect on these feelings at the moment and understand the cause.
We often focus on moving past our feelings in order to "Crush" the rest of the day only to feel the same way later about those same things.
We all have done it and will continue to do it, but by practicing self-awareness and self-regulation we can begin to understand the triggers and roadblocks that impact us so much.
Try this exercise and stay tuned for some practices we can apply to address these.

School with a side of ADHD please!
In this episode, I will give a shout-out to all of my loyal listeners and the countries they proudly represent.
I will follow this up with a discussion on the struggles of school and some resources I am exploring to help me with time management and deadlines.

Adapting to change and how that affects our habits and mindsets
Change can be difficult, that is a no brainer.
Learning to adapt to that change can be more beneficial than we think.
Getting uncomfortable can also be a good thing.
In this episode I touch on the topic of ADHD negativity in chat forums and why it can be detrimental to stay stuck in a negative mindset.
I touch on what I wish my therapist would have told me before giving me medication, the pros and cons of habit and organizational apps. Why having so many can cause you more issues. And why your note taking system and journal system might need adjusted from season to season.
Start small and grow BIG.
Communication is one of the most important things in relationships and that is no different for us, no matter how inadequate we feel. Why is it important to communicate? So we can get help and be seen.

Here is a short story of the universe reminding me to slow down and remember time is relevant
