One Privilege Blind Spot

One Privilege Blind Spot

In this podcast, I talk about some of the dynamics at play with privilege.

This quote: “Insufficient resources are never the main challenge in achieving your dreams.” - Michael Hyatt

sparked some thoughts about resources, and how people with privilege often don't realize how privilege has shaped them and given them resources, so that kind of advice doesn't always work.

My advice: be discerning about who you listen to when you're doing leadership development, working on your finances, etc. Pick someone who has an intersectional view, because even if you're white, this will keep you grounded to your humanity in ways that matter.
